  The place is tiny with only two indoor tables and a few more outside. I opted to do a take out. I ordered their "Chicago" pizza, which is basically a simple fennel sausage pie. It was ready for pick up at the promised time. The pizzas are large, but very thin with an almost cracker crust, and cut into small squares. I was very satisfied eating half the pie and saving the rest for another meal. This is the closest version of the Chicago tavern style pizzas of my youth, and was a joy to experience. I drove down from Washington for this, and I'll do it again.

  It’s nice to get a change of scenery in Pizza here in Portland that is thin Chicago style. Absolutely delicious, goes down so easy a skinny guy like me can take a full size pizza down in one sitting. My favorite is the spicy Chicago. Everything is made with top notch ingredients and me just say, George is an artist at making these pizzas! Also try the tiramisu for desert. Perfection!

  Grew up and lived in Chicago for over 20 years and this is the closest I've come to finding a contendor for tavern style pies out here. Sausage and ghiard all the way. Delicious and reminds me of home ❤️ Thanks Second Oven

  Best tavern style I've had in Portland, not that there is a lot of competition. Cheese is cooked well brown like it's supposed to be and the sauce is good. It is always a good sign when you can smell the fennel when you open the box.

  Look. I'm going to keep my reviews short from here on out. I go out too much. Tuesday is pizza day for me (along with five other days of the week). The service was super friendly, the za is different from most other pizza shops in Portland; give it a shot. I've never seen my wife eat so much pie either, which is amazing. The menu is minimal, so don't expect many options, but it was solid. Cornmeal, crispy, thin... a large pizza goes a long way. Feeds three easy... or one me. I'd overall give my experience a '4', but I am not bringing down their perfect score. Originality and service mean a lot to me. Thanks, dude. Dang. That was longer than I planned. The pizza inspired me.
