  I love coming here but recently an older gentleman is in the hot food section with a nastyyyy attitude whenever you ask for anything... I worked at safeway before lots of customer engagement needed, so no need to be that rude especially in the food department where constant interaction is going to be happening. The sandwich making section needs to be deep cleaned and ingredients need to be date checked! The produce was limp soggy while they made my sandwich, i was peaking through glass and saw the date on the cheese being used was past expired date... please have that area deep cleaned saw old food in crevices! I used to love getting fresh sandwiches but feels like a bother and just unsanitary. Like i said we come here frequently but the service is always up and down. Well today self checkout question my husband way too hard over his ID making him incredibly uncomfortable and raising his ID to compare his face then asked why it was slighlty peeling he explained and she still made comments he even said if you dont want to sell me the beer its fine and she still kept dragging it. Security was edging closer as if my husband was in the wrong very strange interaction! Self Checkout made odd comments before but we just brush it off. I really dislike leaving bad reviews but when i feel the establishment makes me feel unwanted i have to be honest.

  We ordered a birthday cake from this Safeway and were so pleased. They contacted us to make sure they understood what we wanted. The cake was Ready on time and delicious! All of our first asked where we ordered our cake. It was a red velvet with cream cheese!! Thank you Woodstock Bakery Team!

  Employee in the bakery was so helpful while we were picking through the cookie container looking for perfect cookies that had long expiration dates.

  I waited to order a sandwich for 20 minutes while the guy behind the counter helped another customer. Its so obvious that im standing in line to get a sandwich. This guy says nothing to me and starts cleaning up the area without saying a word to me. I will NEVER go to this safeway again. What a horrible experience. Who wants to go to the store to have someone waste their time.
