  I will never again shop at a grocery store that makes me jump through hoops just to get sale prices so that they can harvest my personal data. Having to use an app to get an advertised price should be criminal. George, the cashier was the saving grace in all of this. It is too bad that he has to work with all of these consumer hurdles imposed by corporate. Safeway-it is SO easy to do better. Edit: Added 2 more stars because of George. He gets it.

  Zach, the on‑site florist at Safeway, is truly amazing. He has such a warm heart and a beautiful talent for flower design. After visiting several flower shops on Sunday morning and finding them all closed, I went to Safeway because I remembered they always have fresh flowers. Zach welcomed me kindly and immediately accepted my sudden request for arrangements for my family’s memorial gathering that same day. He created two lovely flower buckets, and I could feel the care, love, and effort he put into them for our afternoon memorial. I am truly grateful for what he did for me and for my friends who gathered to honor my family.

  It's easy to find everything I'm looking for. The cashiers JC (or JR?) on self-check & Tom in full service are always friendly and helpful. There's almost always a tall helpful stranger willing to help me reach something from the top shelf (I've only once been told no, yeah, I was pretty surprised too). Thank you from all the short women of the world ✌️👩‍🔬 🌎. You tall people have literally saved me from being torpedoed in the face by 2-liter bottles of soda! I've utilized the online shopping & pickup service. Especially for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas, dinners. I get claustrophobic in crowded stores and this is a wonderful service 👌 🙌 😊. I avoided Tuesday mornings due to the Senior discount day and slow aisle traffic until it was changed to Wednesdays (sneaky move! Keeps me on my toes!) Although I'm embracing my older neighbors and enjoy their conversations. It puts my ADHD jabbermouth to good use & they don't feel so isolated and lonely. Or they possibly just think I'm lonely and a little crazy. 🤪 I'm all for win win situations. The older I get, the less I care what people think of me. 😁
