  The Safeway has the rudest employees out of all the Safeways. I don't know what it is about Safeway's. I'm guessing it's the rude management and it trickles down, but Safeway's typically do not have friendly people working there, except at Allen and Murray. I live further away now so rarely go to this Safeway, hopefully they are still helpful and friendly. Even the produce person would always ask how they could help. Not the one that I go to most frequently now though on Farmington and 185th. The deli & bakery, especially act like you are really bothering them. If you ask them for a corn dog.

  Clean and well-stocked, smaller Safeway store. Friendly and helpful Associates. A good place to pick up basic essentials fairly quickly.

  Honestly I am the least pickiest eater, but door dash $12 sushi roll, aaaand for it to have no soysauce, barely, I mean barely wasabi and ginger.. also its mostly just rice... I should've just spent $10 on an actual sushi restaurant... thank you for the $12 rice sushi *edit I order at this safe way and I had to buy my own soysauce👍

  Christie (?) with the bleached-end purple accented frizzy pony tail... is... you know those people that make it EXCEPTIONALLY clear they hate you, but with a half smile??? She mostly stands around while everyone else works so I'm assuming she's a manager of some kind? It's just disappointing they don't put her on online fulfillment duty managing or some department that isn't directly customer facing. I feel like every other time I'm here and she's working, I see her escalate some minor frustration a customer has in a way that could've been better handled - and frequently IS better handled by almost every other employee. And while I've never personally had a "bad" interaction with her... I'm just kinda tired of paying $100 for some ground beef and potatoes just to get smirked at by someone because I bothered to say hello

  I am at this Safeway at least 3 or 4 times a week and have never had an issue till last night. I get off work late and head straight to the deli at 8pm to get my sons sandwich meat sliced up for him and there was a gentleman cleaning the slicer and completely ignoring me...then finally a woman approaches and explains the slicer is being cleaned and they are no longer slicing meat...which is confusing to me bc the store doesnt close for another hour. I completely understand that the machine takes time to break down and clean but there are 2 slicers and you still had an hour before closing. Also...the new self checkout is a mess, and I only say that bc the placement of the line has a more limited view of which checkouts are open so you are at the mercy of the attendant who last night was cutting up and cursing and laughing with the cart attendant and not paying attention at all.
