  This is the closest store to our rental home in Portland so we want to come here more and the underground parking helps a bit since it doesn't feel safe to park on the outside of the store and walk through that entrance where a lot of homeless people/addicts hang out. Again I want to like th8s store but every time I walk up from the downstairs parking you smell urine going up the stairs and it's almost every time it's like that. I don't know what it will take to keep that consistently clean but it would sure be helpful and make for a better experience not just for me but for everybody. I know this store is in a challenging area and your staff is trying to do their best. I want to support you and help everything get better. I'd like more people to feel safe coming to the store.

  I love shopping here the employees and security people are all really nice and super helpful. They dont mind that i sell my handmade bracelets on the corner by the entrance either if anyone reading this happens to be in the area please come shop here at this safeway for a good customer experience and don't forget to pick up a bracelet are two from me if you see me there making bracelets i gof a nice assortment and also make orders upon request too 1 braclet for 10$ are u can buy 3 for 25$ and just started necklaces don't have that many made ups but when I get that going they are gonna be 20$ a necklaces 😇

  I know that they already have awful security and that there's so many complaints about them. For years I've seen thier security and employees treat people horribly. But the security standing around just laughing at people as they shop and check out makes it really uncomfortable and not something that makes me stay as a customer I rushed through my transactions to get away because then standing together laughing at people (me?) was so uncomfortable

  Typical grocery store. There is a weird part where if you are buying something from the section you have to check out before leaving the section so I did have to wait in a line for a $2 pack of flushable wipes??? The store is pretty clean and has decent deals. There was a man having a mental breakdown outside of the store and the security person was very calm and got the right people to respond to the situation so good for not escalating the situation.
