  Clear the front door for crying out loud swear there was like 14 people right in front of the front door smoking and when I left I was fallowed to my car by somebody acting like they were about to ask me the most Important question of there lives but just couldn't it was weird

  It is impossible to fully satisfy human needs, regardless of the effort. I am thankful to God for His guidance, which has allowed Safeway to provide extended service to the city of Portland, Oregon. I acknowledge and appreciate outstanding performance, encouraging those that fall short to strive for improvement, as God is good. May love be the guiding principle. Long live Safeway.

  This Safeway is not all together. I find multiple foods that were expired. Not following grocery guidelines. Also they don’t restock drinks the right place. This Reign Storm is a good example, I have had to place the other favorites back to where it need to be because they would fill it up then not fill up the other favorites of Reign Storm on the other one. This is laziness.

  I shop at this store regularly as a “Just 4 You” registered shopper for 20+ years living across the U.S. I’ve had positive and negative experiences at this store. The biggest issues have been created by interactions with the customer service desk over price and product quality in which I was forced to accept my time, my word, and my documentation over concerns were not valid and required an inordinate amount of additional time, repeating already shared information, and refusing to capitulate to receive a resolution that was already promised to me by phone. My time is worth money and the amount of time required at this store to address their failings not acceptable! Update: Spent 20 minutes trying to follow the generic instructions below which didn't work with 3 efforts. Manager, please lookup my account on file by my name and call me as my number is on file with my name!

  I come here to get money orders and shop at the same time. 9/10 times your desk is closed during business hours. No one at lunch and almost 7 employees working in floral… When I managed a Safeway there was absolutely NO WAY that desk could ever be closed, not until 9 pm…I used to have to run the check stand, self checkout, and the desk with the staffing they gave me downtown. What is the reasoning you NEVER have coverage at the desk? Anyways, never shopping here again. I’m embarrassed for this location as a previous manager of grocery stores… Gonna drive across town to get my money order elsewhere. DO BETTER! The crappy location doesn’t give you the excuse to just say,” Well, it is what it is…”
