I had been wanting to go since seeing online. And it was so worth finally going in! Food was amazing! Bring up childhood memories and flavors. Saying I recommend Po'Shines is an understatement!

Food was a solid 7.5/10 overall. The flavors were decent, but the turnip greens (the “trinity greens”) could use some work. The cornbread was dry and lacked flavor. The yams and mac & cheese were both very good. The ribs were pretty good, and the chicken wings were large, juicy, and flavorful.
The only downside was that the dining area was hot, and there were several flies inside. A fly zapper or better pest control would definitely improve the experience.
The customer service was excellent—everyone was friendly, welcoming, and polite. I’m visiting from Florida and stopped in for a bite to eat. Overall, it’s a good place to eat with some room for improvement, and I’d be willing to come back.
Fantastic nonprofit group and these folks know how to cook. Get the cornmeal breaded fried catfish almost every time we visit Portland. Other menu items are also delicious cooking style.
Oh, My, Goodness! I just stopped by bc i saw this place at the corner on my way to the library! The shiniest gem ive found in Portland! <3
Im always looking for good catfish in this town, and this one was absolute perfection. Perfect cornmeal breading and cooked seriously immaculately!!!!
I meant to just grab food to go bc I parked in just a 1hr spot, but after sitting for a second, waiting for my food to come out I decided to at least snack and chill for a second. Bc the atmosphere was delicious too.
A sweet little cafe with food and atmosphere of a perfect little dream, or perhaps a slice of heaven ✨️
I cant wait to come back and try the lamb burger

Family owned business. Shrimp, brisket, po'boy bread, and potato salad are all excellent. We really enjoyed the food and relaxed family atmosphere. Would definitely go back to try more.
