Hey there folks! I tried to reach you through other methods and haven’t been successful. I want you to know that I have been going to this food pod for several years and appreciate the upgrades being made. I’ve also been a patron of La Arepa for over a year and eaten here many times. As a gluten-free person, It’s helpful to know I won’t get gluten contamination eating here. I however, the point of sale system has been a problem every time. I usually use the pad at the pod to order but always have some sort of problem. So this time I tried the app. I’m not a person that has technical problems very often but again it was tricky as the interface was different from the pos system. I ordered 3 arepa pabellon to share and they all came without meat and no sauces! And the arepa itself seemed under cooked. I never got a notification that my food was ready, just the initial notification that my order had been received, so when I went to check in y’all said it had just finished. Because it took over 30 minutes to get my food everyone else in my party had eaten from other carts and they were all cold (the outside seating didn’t have the heater turned on that day and the walls weren’t down to create a wind block), so I just grabbed the to go bag and left. When I got home to eat I discovered the problems with my order and sent a message through the app which apparently didn’t go through? I never got a response. It’s sad to spend over $50 with on food that isn’t correct. I love your food and your vibe but feeling like I got let down, and not sure I want to try again.
