The food is amazing!!! Great flavors and very friendly people. Coming back for more!!!
They were super nice. The food is delicious and extremely authentic. Every process is home made
This is the best Indian food I have tried in Portland, and specifically the Chicken Tikki Masala. I would recommend ordering ahead of time because it takes a little while, but well worth the wait!

Let's get real: the 'restaurant' appellation is a stretch. This is a stall in a food hall. Not a problem unless perhaps you're trying to impress a date or something, just something of which to be aware.
Back in February, I got the Lamb Jalfrezi. It was memorable enough to get me to make a special trip back today. This time I got the Fish Jalfrezi. Warming spice, mellow tartness, and a balancing dose of sweetness are the watchwords for the luscious sauce enrobing healthy chunks of green bell pepper, onion, and the lightly-breaded fried mild white fish (tilapia?). Fries are thick, hot, and tasty, fluffy inside with a slightly craggy crisp exterior and seasoned throughout -- ace!
I asked for HOT and was neither disappointed nor overwhelmed. Portion size is generous. Peripheral benefits accrue from the Lents MAX stop just a block away, the colocation with Zoiglhaus Brewing, and the pinball available under the same roof.
