Excellent mac & cheese with brisket! Sadly there was one girl trying to wait on all the tables and bartend all by herself. It wasn't going well. I felt bad for her. We ended up with not hot food and missed out on refills, additional drinks etc. because she just couldn't get to it all. Ended up being a really long dinner. They just need more help.

Tonight was my first visit to The Wilds. I ordered the two meats (pulled pork and brisket) and two sides (mac and cheese and coleslaw) meal. I also ordered a lemonade. The lemonade was terrible. The coleslaw was void of any flavor. The meats were both fatty and I found the portion size to be lacking for the price point. My $27 combo meal was marked up $3 for mac and cheese and $4 for the brisket for a total of $34. The bill came showing my lemonade to be $6, even though the menu listed $4. My dinner companion had the pulled pork sandwich, which also seemed very thin and lacking for meat. He found it to be mediocre. As always, I was glad to try a place for the first time, but neither of us will be back.

Bar tender was attentive and pleasant when talking our order. Atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Food was unfortunately bland. The pulled chicken was pretty fatty and barely had any smokey flavor. Mac and Cheese was bland and oily. Baked beans were fantastic and the coleslaw was decent. We were also only offered one type of a basic sweet BBQ sauce so if you like tangy /spicy you'll be disappointed. Overall, it wasn't horrible but it was disappointing.

The beer was good, waitress friendly, the ambiance nice, the food was so-so. Loaded Mac w/pork was so-so… noodles were cooked fine, but the cheese was bland, and the pulled pork had too much fat (and an artery) in the mix. Our other dish with pulled pork also has too much fat. Won’t go back.

Great little place! On vacation and stopped for the night…
The street tacos were yummy and the beer was cold!
The gal that took care of was great! She was on top of things, even though it appeared
that she was the only bartender and server!
My brother got the Brussel Sprouts and said they were excellent, the others had Brisket with Mac and cheese and was pleased, another with the wings, another with Chicken Strips, everyone left happy! 😊
