  After purchasing my groceries at Newberg, OR Safeway, I unfortunately locked my purse in the truck while loading my groceries to go home. A kind couple called AAA for me since my phone was also locked in the truck. After waiting a while, I went back into Safeway and asked if I could use the phone to call a local locksmith to see if they were available to help. BJ & Caylin who were working that evening looked up a local locksmith for me and dialed the phone number so I could request service. I was so grateful!!! The locksmith was very close and able to come right away. Thank you BJ & Caylin for going above and beyond your required duties to help a customer. I always receive great service and kindness at my local Safeway.

  🦄Lillie and 🌸Andrea <pharmacy > went out of their way to assist me today. DEFINITELY switching pharmacies. Been shopping pretty hard here for a few years and it works here. I like the peeps. good times, 5⭐ Nice work. 🇺🇸merica

  I was disappointed as I ordered a 50-piece fried chicken platter for my child's birthday party 5/31 on Safeway.com at this location. I received a confirmation email from Safeway saying "Your Safeway order is confirmed! Here are your pickup details" It said to come to the Springbrook road location in Newberg at 4pm on 5/31, I could pay for the order there, and it would be ready. The deli staff had no idea what we were talking about when we arrived and could only offer us 8 pieces of chicken. I called the number on the email, which said to call if there were any questions or problems, which took me to corporate. I had a really bizarre interaction with the representative. I read her the confirmation number from the email and she kept saying it wasn't a correct order number and it wasn't in the system. I even tried asking the representative if I could forward the email I received to their tech team or something so that they could look into it, and she just kept repeating the "it's not in the system" or giving me flat radio silence. She didn't even say goodbye at the end of the call when I said "thank you" and said disappointedly that I'd have to figure something else out. Just silence. No apology. I get that things go wrong and sometimes they just can't fix it in the timeframe you need, but it's like there's no interest on their end in figuring out what happened or trying to do anything to at least show the customer they care about what happened? I don't want to bite anybody's head off, I'm just upset and would like to at least have someone acknowledge that I got bad information from Safeway that really caused a lot of stress and scrambling at the last minute.
