  Please for the love of god fix the wifi connection here; it’s atrocious, it seems to without fail never let me connect to the SAFEWAY wifi and being that there never more then 1 bar of service in the entire store the SAFEWAY wifi should be working 24/7 I don’t know why it’s so damn difficult to get any little bit of internet connection in this place, PLEASE fix/ look into improving in this area

  I'm surprised to see any positive reviews. There are never enough checkers. Doesn't matter the day or time. If you're lucky there are 2 checkers but still the lines are horrendous. If you ask for more checkers they always say we don't have anyone available and try to tell me all safeways are like this. I informed her that is not correct. I do my best to avoid the molalla location and often shop canby and south salem stores. I have never had to wait in lines often 7+ customers deep. I can tell you everyone else in line is just as unhappy as I am. We all feel we're held hostage because we don't have another choice close by (i don't count grocery outlet as they just don't carry items I'm interested in). I look forward to the day we do have other options and will happily make the change. I will not be alone. Also, lately produce has been subpar. 3 times in past 6 weeks the tomatoes both romas and on the vine look good but you cut into them and the seed have germinated. They Look like worms. I returned them once and since has happened 2 more times. Same thing with the fresh pears. Also, the cantelope never ripens just turns to shoe leather. I'd love the opportunity to discuss the overall disappointment with the owner. The managers I've spoken to tell me to call corporate. We all know it falls on deaf ears. Also...teach your new checkers how to pack the groceries. In the past month a friendly new checker has smashed my bread by placing 3 pounds of zucchini on top. Same goes for my bananas. The next time he placed the safeway pies in the bottom of the bag and put heavy items on top crushing them. Nice young man but definitely does not know how to pack. Lastly, 8 out of 10 trips require standing in line to get refunds for being overcharged. Somehow the clipped coupons don't ring properly. That of course leads to another long wait in line. I have never posted a review before but felt it was time.

  Raising prices to then claim they are on sale is textbook price gouging. Will never shop here again

  It was just like every other Safeway, with plenty of groceries and other options. However, the staff at the help desk were pretty unfriendly.

  Ridiculous lines at the pharmacy most of the time. Likely to switch pharmacies soon. The store is often out of needed items and appears to be short staffed most of them time. Most of the employees are friendly!
