  Things haven’t improved since my last review. I utilize this store because of its proximity to a Native elder I help. They say they don’t get treated well either. A couple of the younger white male staff are pretty volatile and have bad hygiene. I’m moving soon and won’t return or recommend.

  They were bbqing today the ribs were delicious. All the staff was so nice. We went there to turn in my cans n bottles and even the guy that was in charge of the bottle station was nice. I will be going here again.

  The staff are very friendly and especially the people at the deli. I’m only leaving a review in hopes that they bbecome more honest. Please check your receipts of what you’re buying. Some of the deals that they post on the shelves do not register at checkout. Today I have picked up a pre-boxed eight piece of dark meat fried chicken the tag on the shelf said that eight piece dark meat fried chicken 8.99 every day. When I got to the checkout and entered my phone number, it didn’t take a dollar off. This isn’t the first time this has happened. It has happened to me before with their soda deals. I posted the pictures as well separately since it won’t let me add it here. The lady at the checkout was nice enough to believe me with the photos I took, so she added a dollar discount.

  Great little Safeway! Good quality products, reasonable price and great service. Starbucks inside to grab coffee. Highly recommend.

  This experience will prolly mean I never come into this Safeway again even to shop for grocery’s guess it’s back to Freddy’s where they enforce the no loitering! Went to the Safeway on Webster and in Portland Oregon. They had a scalper camping the Pokemon machine that jumped up in front of me after I walked in they already had Pokemon merchandise and were clearly camping at the table next to the machine. I told a employee about it and they told me they let people loiter on the Pokemon machine even though when you look it up it clearly says Safeway has the Authority to tell loiters not to loiter at their machine because it makes terrible experiences happen. I told the employee this when I was leaving because I don’t loiter on machine because it clearly is labeled no loitering. The employee seemed to not care and told me they let people loiter and that Pokemon owns that machine and Safeway can’t do anything even though it’s sitting right inside your store. That’s a terrible excuse and when I called to complain the same employee answered was rude to me about it and says they will just let it keep happening and that I should confront the scalper or person loitering like I’m Safeway security or something I’m a customer not your employee. It is your guys responsibility to not let people loiter otherwise take the machine out of your store and put it back into customer service with a purchase limit or you could enforce the no loitering you guys are totally able to enforce. You don’t want other customers confronting scalpers loitering and campers in your store that will end terribly. Was really unimpressed with the employees attitude however the Union Rep in the store was very nice and talked to me about it even though she didn’t need to so I appreciate her a lot in this moment. It may seem silly to some of your employees but enforcing the no loitering and camping on your machine is how you keep a safe environment for people and kids to to get cards from your machine! If you this is your guys response your are gonna end up with constant drama at your machines
