  We loved our kayak tour through the Salmon River estuary. Kendall was our guide and he was amazing. He has a degree in marine biology and it shows. We had the best time getting to learn about the area, the tide, the sea creatures, the sea birds. We were literally kayaking with harbor seals! This was our first time to Oregon and we couldn't have had a better time. This company has everything to do with why we fell in love with the Oregon Coast as much as we did. Do not walk- run to the Oregon Coast- and check out my friends at Safari!

  On vacation here from out of town, stopped at the Lincoln city location for a few quick essentials. Our cashier, Anthony, was amazing - helped us figure out the membership program for some serious savings, and led a Disney sing along with my kids, who were all grins. Any company would be lucky to have a guy like Anthony in a customer facing position. Give that man a raise.

  Reading the comments here suggests the employees are not very happy. Often that means a toxic work place. Pallet jack boy wasn't happy. He was quite aggressive to the point almost of violence shoving his pallet jack at me demanding I move. Thank you for the wonderful safe experience. Check out the form letter response. As I said toxic. Same old complaint same old response. They have no interest. Are they closing this store too?

  As you come up to the main entrance you dance with full carts coming out. The carts are conveniently located right in front of the door 2 people here is quite the crowd. Let alone full carts and kids coming out. 2 ladies are stopped just inside the door trying to chart a course through the many blue tub carts blocking the entrance. I maneuver wide over toward the check outs to go around . By the creamers there is a bunker an employee stopped with blue tub chatting with another employee and some freight completely blocking the way. I wait patiently for them to conclude their business. Just when I'm about to speak up palette boy shows up and demands to get past. I point to the blockage and say I'm trying to . Palette boy then becomes aggressive demanding to get buy again I point he then becomes more aggressive pushing palette at me. Done will not return

  We ordered several trays of sandwiches from this Safeway because we have a Safeway in Baltimore, and they have always done a good job on sandwich trays. These were for our grand-daughter’s wedding, which was being held in Newport. We called to ask if we could pick up our order earlier, and they confirmed it was ready. There was no Safeway in Newport. We were so disappointed when we arrived to find that they had gotten our order for one of the two trays wrong. We decided not to have them make us a new tray and just take the one that was correct. They were so apologetic and nice about it, how could we be upset? They were very kind and generous to give us a discount on the tray that we did take. So, we left happy. The sandwiches were a huge hit and were absolutely delicious. Everything turned out well in the end.
