Great and fast service by a friendly server. The food was amazing and good size in portion. We ordered three different kinds of enchilada dinners and the table side made, fresh guacamole ways to die for. We mentioned to the server that our friend was having her birthday that day and they made sure to come over and sing and give her a free ice cream sundae.

I went in for dinner with my 5 year old daughter after my brother offered a rave review on the asada burrito.
We were seated immediately and the hostess was warm and welcoming. Our server greeted us in a timely manner and brought us our beverages quickly. We ordered our food and enjoyed the fresh made chips and salsa. Our food arrived in a timely manner. My kiddos plate and food were at a perfect temperature for her and she dug right in. My plate and burrito were very hot (appropriately so), so I was taking my time. About 10 minutes and a few bites in, the server came and asked if I had the correct meal. Turned out they gave me someone else's chicken burrito instead of the asada I'd ordered. Not a big deal but never the ideal thing. Our server switched it for me and I really enjoyed the asada. Exceptionally prepared but I wish led there was a lot more beef. Still a delicious burrito (I'd hope so for $25)
We filled up and asked for togo boxes and a dessert menu. After ordering dessert, my daughter told me she needed to use the restroom. I still take her myself when in public places. We had left our table, with our togo boxes full and my phone on the table, for less than 3 minutes and when we returned the table was cleared of everything. Our server was simultaneously showing up with our desert. She was thrown off and for some reason declared the we hadn't left anything on the table though, right? And I was like... yeah our leftovers AND MY PHONE lol. She apologized and was able to quickly locate the things, but it was awkward and uncomfortable and definitely disrupted the flow of our experience. I don't take my daughter to nice restaurants very often and left feeling disappointed of the experience we received per the amount of money I spent. The lava cake was good but the ice cream it was served with was amazing!
I want to emphasize that our server was great. It was just unfortunate for her that she had to deal with awkward mistakes from other staff members

This is an old old Mexican Restaurant in the old American style. When Chevy's went under a few years back, this location reopened. Both interior and exterior are actually kind of fun, but look a little like a rummage sale that's been through the wars.
The server was very friendly and helpful. The wait times were reasonable. The place was very loud, and our party of 10 was seated at a long narrow table so we really could each talk (yell really) only to a couple of neighbors. It want quite earplug territory though, which is better than usual these days.
The prices were quite high for the quality. The flavored margeritas did not taste great and were served blended by default, which surprised several of us. My chicken mole enchiladas were not ideal: the mole sauce was quite sweet (a matter of taste), the chicken was quite tough and stringy and the tortillas were leathery (not a matter of taste). Gray beans are a thing I guess; the red-sauce rice was not something I tried.
There are some really tasty and pleasant restaurants in the area at similar price points. I will likely continue to visit those.
