Amazing you can shop on line and get the exact price that the shopping cart says but when you go into the store they charge a bunch more! So if they steal $7-8 dollars (that a low number) from each customer what would you guess their profit at the end of the day is. Say a figure of 50 people per hour. X 12 hrs. 600 people per day? Times let’s do an average of $5 in errors per customer. That’s $3000. A day stealing from your local economy. Today was the 2nd time this year I went in they over charged $8.49. I will not go in ever again it’s my parting gift to them..

This location Safeway is the very worst EVER.. I've always bought fruit & produce from Safeway.. they over water there fruits making them moldy.. always bought organic Lemons..Rotten lemons they never give your money back.. customer service isn't good either.. blood sugar was low I ordered a hot 1 entrees meal of Chinese. Needed to eat Immediately.. I asked for a fork ..worker replying we're out ..
.WTH..it's a grocery store !! ..They couldn't run & grab a PKG of plastic utensils for their customers.
I also refused that entree..my blood sugar crashed.. thanks Safeway..
Also outside parking lot & back of store is horrible garbage everywhere. Maintenance in & outside are atrocious. I've always shopped Safeway..but La Grande's Needs Shut Down..PERIOD..

There was a clerk, her name was Helen, she helped me with my checkout, was excellent in her communication skills. I thought I was being waited on by the manager of the store. Very engaging, and full of energy. Helen waited on multIple customers with confidence and professionalism that I had not experienced with others in the customer setvice Industry. If I had a business I would steal her away from Safeway. Take care of her she is valuable to your stores success.

The fresh cut up fruit was super delicious! The grab and go turkey sandwich was great as well! Probably the freshest one I’ve grabbed from a Safeway!
