This place increasingly goes downhill every year. Corporate would rather save a buck than actually have a working staff. Only one cashier for half of a Saturday? Get your heads out of your asses. For a union job, those employees get zero support and are run ragged. The only reason this place hasn’t closed is because it’s the largest store in town and people need to eat. SHOP LOCAL as much as possible!!! With price increases, why continue to support this insanity?

Manager Sam was an incredible helper and was truly the best part of my day. He was very busy and still did not hesitate to ask me if I needed help! I sure did…. He then helped me find two items. Such a nice boy.

Have had nothing but great experiences but today had an awful experience with Geoffery the gas attendant. He was extremely rude when I arrived he aggressively grabbed my cash and when I asked him to make sure my points that were applied for the 10cents off a gallon; he very angrily said l that they were. When I got home and checked my receipt and my digital receipt in the Safeway app no discounts were applied even though the points were used at the gas station.

I bought many different kinds of groceries during my last trip. I specifically made sure to put my bananas at the very end of the line behind every other grocery item of mine. I did this because the last MANY times I bought bananas here, the baggers packed my bananas underneath a bunch of other groceries in the bag, ruining/bruising my bananas. Tell me HOW & WHY the middle-aged-or-older person bagging my groceries grabbed my bananas that were AT THE END OF THE LINE.....and still packed other groceries that were in front of the bananas on top of my bananas???? I literally tried to make your job simpler by placing the bananas in the very back of my line for them to be packed LAST. Please learn how to pack groceries and learn that bananas should not be underneath the other heavier groceries in the bag. Whoever is training these baggers, don't assume that just because they're middle-aged-or-older means that they know how to pack groceries because they clearly don't....please retrain your baggers so that they can do a better job. It's always the employees who are middle-aged or older at this Safeway location packing my bananas in dumb ways like this for some reason, I don't get it.
