Came through at 1am after hanging out with family all day as a late night munch before bed. Went through the drive through, paid and ordered like normal. A worker handed us the bag and I immediately noticed the receipt on the bag was for a DoorDash order. Checked the bag and none of the items were even remotely close to what we ordered. It seemed busy so I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. We pulled around to the parking lot and I walked through the door, kindly explained to the worker that I got the wrong order. She asked me what I got, and went to talk to the people making the food. After two minutes they handed me a second bag of food, again, with nothing even remotely close to what I ordered. I waited for the person I talked to about the issue to finish taking another drive through order, and when she came back I was visibly frustrated, telling her this, again, was not what I ordered. She asked how long ago I’ve been through the drive through, for me to tell her I haven’t been through the drive through as late as five minutes ago. She printed out a receipt and handed it to me to double check if the receipt was correct. I said yes, and she hung it up in front of the people preparing food.
I then proceeded to wait 45 minutes for two tacos and a burrito. I entered the drive through around 12:40 am and left at 1:23 am. During that time I was watching those prepping food drop food on the floor and leave it there, step over previous dropped food and garbage. The kitchen looked like a tornado had blown through. About 20-25 minutes into my waiting time, a DoorDash driver came back inside (he had been there when I walked in from pulling around the drive through), looked at me and asked if this was the bag I returned. I said yes, and that the bag was handed to me at the drive through window. He then proceeded to tell me he’s been waiting for this DoorDash order for over an hour. He grabbed the bag and left. As a previous DoorDash driver for La Grande, this is the reason I stopped accepting Taco Bell orders in the first place. Finally, I got my order and walked out, visibly upset.
We get back to my boyfriends moms house to eat before bed, only to realize my shredded beef tacos were ground beef, and my boyfriend was missing his extra sour cream and his Diablo sauce, and we were missing napkins. All we ordered were two shredded beef dipping tacos, and a steak grilled cheese burrito with extra sour cream and Diablo sauce. $20 total.
All we got for our troubles and wasted time was two coupon codes for a free taco. I absolutely will not be coming back to this location until it’s run by more responsible people instead of unsupervised children and addicts.
