We had an issue with a glitch on one part of our orders, it had duplicated the whole order. Which they brought out two skillets, and we told the runner that we only intended to order one. And he said it was fine and he’d just leave us the second one. They also never brought us the other portion of the duplicated order. When it was time to pay the bill we got to our portion to pay, we let the server know and she was nice about it and went to let her manager know. Couple minutes go by and the manager comes and talks to my boyfriend and I, and immediately accuses us of eating in and just not wanting to pay for it. Which we had no issue in paying for it, the issue was we didn’t get the other portion and didn’t want to pay for something we didn’t order twice or receive. So coming out already accusing us, and not asking the whole story set me off. As we had no issue paying, just was trying to get something off that we never received. So I would not recommend going to this location, as the manager doesn’t seem to treat customers, or work well in customer service. I work in retail, and I’ve never had a manager or anyone above me talk to me like this. Was very frustrating and unnecessary.

Everything about our visit was pretty good up until the very end. We had ordered several things through the mobile app and noticed an issue where one person's order was doubled (1 drink and 1snack). When the server brought the food items we politely informed him that we only ordered one. He checked the ticket said "I guess your server placed the order twice, you can have it for free" and then left. The odd thing is even though the drink and snack were duplicated we only recieved 1 drink and 2 snacks. During checkout we politely told our waitress that our order was duplicated and asked if they could at least drop the drink since it was never received (never made a comment about not paying for the 2nd snack. The waitress apologized and left to get it removed. Later a manager came over and was guns blazing from the start accusing us of eating something and now not wanting to pay. After camly explaining the situation he then gave us a lecture about how they could comp it but that we needed to bring the issue to their attention sooner. I told him we did and he looked at me smuggly and insisted I describe the employee so they could be trained better. A great experience sadly ruined by poor management. If he had camly came over and asked for clarification (I get it things get miscummincated) we probably would've paid for both items. Manger really needs a course in de-esclating

Devin (with an O) our server was the absolute best. He helped me and the girlies take shots without our boyfriends finding out. Good vibes all night long. We were literally treated like loyalty absolute princesses thanks to Devon. God bless you

Our first experience at Topgolf Hillsboro was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, the way the manager handled a very simple situation guaranteed that I will think twice before coming back.
Your website clearly showed a specific price per bay for Sunday mornings from 9–11 a.m. After getting set up, I noticed we were being charged a higher price. I spoke with the bay host, who brought over the manager, Isaiah. I showed him the pricing displayed on your own website on my phone. He read it for a moment and then pointed out the fine print stating that in-person pricing could vary.
I understand that there can be fine print and different pricing structures. What I don't understand is the complete lack of effort to make things right for a first-time customer over a $5.99 difference.
I asked Isaiah if he could simply adjust the price to match what was advertised on the website. His response was essentially that there was nothing he could do, and then he walked away.
Let me be clear: This isn't about $6. It's about how I was treated.
When a customer comes in for the first time, sees a price advertised on your website, and reasonably expects to pay that price, the right response from a manager isn't to hide behind fine print and walk away. A good manager would recognize that $5.99 is a very small price to pay to create a positive first impression and earn a repeat customer.
Instead, Isaiah's attitude made me feel like my business wasn't valued and that my concern wasn't worth his time.
Topgolf Hillsboro may have a great facility, but customer service starts with management. Unfortunately, this interaction left a bad enough impression that I will not be returning.
Management should seriously reconsider whether this is how they want first-time customers to be treated.

We visited Topgolf around 8:00 PM this evening, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing.
The reservation staff were standing around in groups chatting and were not attentive. We were assigned what felt like one of the worst bays for playing.
Once we got to our bay and started our game, we waited over 25 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Eventually, our server, Ivy, took our food and drink orders. Our drinks arrived after a while, but there were no straws. After waiting several more minutes and not seeing anyone, I had to leave our bay and walk to another area just to get straws for my kids.
When the food arrived, it came without sauces, napkins, or silverware. My kids sat there unable to eat until they finally came to tell me those items were missing. Again, no one checked on us.
The most upsetting part of the evening happened halfway through our game. Ivy came to our bay and asked for my credit card. I have been to Topgolf several times over the past few weeks, and this had never happened before. When I asked why she needed it, she responded, "What if you guys leave without paying?"
I was shocked by the comment, and so was my son. He quietly asked me, "Is that weird, or is it just me?" I didn't want to make the situation worse for him, so I told him there may have been a change in policy. However, he pointed out that if it was really a policy, why were we the only group being asked? The parties on both sides of us were never approached. He then asked if it was because of our skin color. As a parent, that was heartbreaking to hear, and it completely changed what should have been a fun evening for my children.
After we finished playing, I spoke with who I believe was the manager. I explained everything that had happened, but he showed little concern. He didn't apologize or acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. His only response was to offer me a food voucher. I declined because this wasn't about free food. The experience had a real emotional impact on my children, and a gift voucher doesn't address that.
If Topgolf's management or training team reads this review, I strongly recommend investing in better customer service training and ensuring staff apply policies consistently to every guest. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at Topgolf, and it's especially disappointing because my children left questioning whether they had been treated differently because of the color of their skin.
