- RKRyan Kennedy3 days ago4.0I like safeways meat dept.. they seam to use meat as a reason for people to shop there. I don't care for the pricing on nearly everything else. The store was clean and the employees were polite etc.. so giving them 4 stars almost feels wrong, but it's not. When u are in a safeway it feels like their is a und we relying tension between the employees and the management. I prefer to spend my money where people act like they are happy and enjoy their jobs. It also feels like they have extra loss prevention and less workers who can help you. I don't care who follows me around because I'm not a thief. It would be nice if they could point towards the direction of where to find something. That's not how it works though. Lastly, when u see the sales price on stuff in the store it would be nice if they reminded people that your phone number doesn't get u those prices. You have to have their app pre-installed etc to get that price. So that doesn't feel like a store that wants my business. They have my phone number in the system for what reason?? I'm not sure why they feel it's good to run different deals that require different ways of getting the advertised price. My number saved me 7 cents. That's not even the bottle deposit, but it's better then nothing.
