  I was delighted to find this bbq place on my route from crescent city to Florence. The meat was all perfectly rendered with great smoke flavor. I was particularly impressed with the perfect medium/mid rare doneness on the tri tip and the freshness of the coriander rub on the pastrami.

  Had this place right as I was heading out from Oregon Washington . Best bbq sandwich I’ve ever had; consistency of the meat was amazing and the flavor was impeccable! Bryan was working outside and was a great help as well as the manager although I’d don’t catch his name . Great, cool guys and will make sure you’re taken care of ! Highly recommend this place!

  Excellent!!! It was close to closing time and they was out of alot of things but what they had was delicious brisket and potato salad is what I had and my husband had steak fries smothered in brisket and bbq sauce!!! It all excellent!!! The brisket was sooo tender and had such a good smoke ring on it! The potato salad was homemade and was excellent as well!! Oh and the bbq sauce was excellent as well!! Just a wonderful flavor!! We give the gold beach bbq a 10+.

  So happy we stopped here. The service was excellent. The food was so good! The brisket was cooked to perfection. The tri-tip was good. Kitchen was out of the corn bread so they gave us a service of Mac and cheese to make up for it. And damn that Mac and cheese seriously made up for it. It had hints of pickled jalapeño. It’s not spicy. My husband said it reminded him of movie theater nachos but in a Mac and cheese. Don’t be weirded out by the fact that it has sour cream, it really adds to it. It’s definitely as the kids call it, a big back meal and I mean it in the best way. Now the clam chowder… oooooooo! It was so good even my husband asked for his own order: and he is not a clam chowder guy! It was so comforting and flavorful. 10/10 would go out of my way to have that chowder again.

  We came to gold beach to fish and stopped in this little spot. The smell of the smoker going lead us on in. We had the brisket and tri tip with Mac. Delicious. The brisket melts in your mouth. Cornbread was moist and very tasty. Plate portions were perfect amount and great pricing too. Service was amazing and everyone was super friendly. It’s a must stop.
