  This restaurant used to have high quality food at a moderate price. That has changed for the worse. All “sides” for burgers and sandwiches are now separately priced. Soft drinks and iced tea are now $5. I now have had 2 bad experiences and will not be returning. The latest happened last Sunday. I decided to try their Hawaiian plate lunch. Hawaiian plate snack is more like it. The Kahlua pork tasted decent except it was very fatty. The chicken Katsu was dried out and 2 of the small pieces were breading only. The 2 tiny scoops of rice were room temperature at best and very dry. And the Mac salad was so greasy I felt I needed to report a spill to the EPA. It was not busy but our server did not come to refill drinks. She barely stopped long enough to register a complaint about the iced tea. She whizzed by asking if everything tasted okay and left before getting an answer. She dropped all the tickets at the end of the table (there were 8 of us) and did the same thing returning change and credit card receipts. At that time we were the only guests in the restaurant.

  The atmosphere was great, food was delicious, and the server was quick and attentive. Best beer cheese soup I’ve had… ever. The Bijou chicken salad was fantastic. The chicken was well seasoned and moist. Drinks were generously pored. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area.

  The food, drinks and service are top-notch. Matt is a great, friendly bartender accompanied by lovely, smiling staff and yummy noms

  The food was okay, but it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get served. On a Saturday morning with an event going on nearby (Prefontaine Classic), they only had one cook on duty. Really? They should have expected a big crowd, and prepared appropriately. Customers were getting impatient, and staff was understandably stressed. I asked to speak with a manager. Apparently, the new owners don't believe that one is necessary. Wrong. I doubt this place survives if this sort of service continues. I won't be back.
