  We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with an overnight stay at Domaine Willamette’s Founder’s Residence, and it was an absolutely incredible experience from beginning to end. The Founder’s Residence is the only residence on the property, which makes staying there truly unique. Once the winery closes for the evening and everyone leaves, you are literally the only guests at the vineyard. It’s difficult to describe just how remarkable it is to have such a beautiful place entirely to yourselves. Zach took us to the residence, showed us around, explained everything, and was fantastic throughout our stay. We enjoyed two wonderful wine tastings, had a great meal at the restaurant, and spent time simply walking through the gardens and beautiful landscaping. That evening, dinner was brought to us at the residence, and we spent the rest of the night sitting by the outdoor fireplace, drinking wine and enjoying the absolute peace and privacy of having the entire vineyard to ourselves. It was magical. For our 25th anniversary, we wanted something memorable, and this exceeded anything we could have hoped for. The wine, food, property, service, and especially the experience of staying at the Founder’s Residence were exceptional. An unforgettable anniversary and easily a five-star experience. We will remember this night for the rest of our lives.

  Had an excellent tasting experience here. Nick was very knowledgeable and treated us very well. Gave us recommendations on reds outside of our tasting. If you like sparkling wine, here is the place to visit. The rose and brut were very good in my own opinion. You can’t taste outside but you can certainly go outside after. Nice view of the valley. Zach was also very knowledgeable and gave us a sample of some of the different grapes, highlighting the differences on each. Overall would highly recommend.

  Our favorite winery and wine tasting in the Valley! We had such a wonderful experience at Domaine Willamette today, and a huge part of that was our fantastic wine ambassador, Chris Waddell. He was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, engaging, and made our tasting feel personal and fun. You can tell he truly loves the wines and enjoys sharing that passion with others. He made our visit extra special, and we left with great wine, great memories, and a definite desire to come back. Highly recommend! 🍇❤️

  Our experience at Domaine Wilamette was amazing. Chris Waddell was our Winery Ambassador. Chris was very knowledgeable, but that is almost expected, although he had a wonderful knowledge of wines and the history of the region. What was amazing was the personal investment and time Chris made in our group. He personalized our tasting. He accommodated our varied pallets and interests. He shared a warm sense of humor. The winery is beautiful! The waterfall is a great benefit with the serene sounds of the water. The food was great, the wine was even better. But again Chris Waddell absolutely put our experience over the top! Thank you Chris and Domaine Willamette!!

  We had the most amazing wine experience. Greg took us throughout the vineyard and made the visit incredibly personal, sharing intimate details about the artwork, the stories and spirit behind the property, and the philosophy that shapes the wines. We were able to experience both popular releases and special library wines, and Greg’s knowledge made every tasting even more meaningful. He also happens to be a chef, so his understanding of the wines, food, and how biodynamic farming influences the flavor and character of each wine was exceptional. What made the experience even more memorable was the hospitality. Despite arriving late for our tour, the team graciously accommodated us and still made us feel as though we were receiving a true VIP experience. We ended our visit enjoying quiet, romantic views of the vineyard with thoughtfully prepared snacks that beautifully complemented the wines. A truly special and memorable experience from beginning to end.
