The manager of the store is pretty bad. Especially when he walks past the butcher block telling them it smells like your mom! I stopped shopping at this store because of the store manager. He clearly doesn't care what his customers hear.

My wife recently visited the bakery at the Albertsons in Albertsons to place an order for a birthday cake. This is a bakery we have used successfully in the past, so we were surprised by the response.
At first, she was told they needed a couple of weeks' notice. That was perfectly fine, since the birthday is still several weeks away. However, after explaining that, she was then told they could not make the cake until June.
When she asked why, multiple employees—including a manager—explained that they are severely short-staffed and have been struggling ever since a longtime employee retired. They even suggested that we try another Albertsons location because this store is unable to keep up with cake orders.
This is very concerning. Bakery orders for birthdays and special occasions are a basic service customers expect from a full-service grocery store. If this location is so understaffed that they cannot fulfill orders weeks in advance, that points to a significant staffing and management issue.
The employees were honest and courteous, and this review is not directed at them. They appear to be doing the best they can under difficult circumstances. The responsibility lies with store and corporate leadership to ensure departments are adequately staffed and able to meet normal customer demand.
We have always had good experiences here in the past, which makes this especially disappointing. I hope Albertsons takes this seriously and provides the support this bakery clearly needs.

Love the workers; hate the app. Don’t you just love that our country is now monopolizing on humans staring at their phones, even more, in order to get the “deal”? Not to mention the building has absolutely no service, causing the app to never work. I literally feel like I’m living in a WALL-E sequel when in this store. Really any store with an app that you have to use. Go back to paper coupons for crying out loud

An older guy at the meat section was extremely rude, white guy with a beard and red/brown hair, idk his name. Asked for 8 lbs of chicken in a single bag, dude pulls out the premade stuff sitting in black Styrofoam. I told him I wanted the fresher chicken not in black Styrofoam. He escalated and screamed its the same thing.
Yes I know it is, im asking for specific chicken that hasn't been soaking in black Styrofoam... its disgusting.
Never coming back here again.
