Make sure to check your order! I go through the drive thru here 1-2 times a month and I would say a good 75% of the time something is missing from my order. In the last year I have probably been shorted a good $70-50. It so consistently happens it makes me wonder if the staff do it on purpose. Are missed orders given to staff for free? How the hell can one item so consiststly be missing from my orders! I know I should start checking before I leave, but when you make a large order you don't want to have to dig through your bag keeping everyone waiting at the drive thru.

Your ice cream machine is not always broken, you just don’t want to clean it. Lol
Genuinely impressed.
I very rarely take the time to review fast food.
This was my first time coming through this location after the switch to being 24 hours. It was about 12:15 AM, and I got a drive-thru order with the $7 Daily double meal in the app. The burger, fries and nuggets were all super well prepared, fresh, and hot. It was quick too! Really tasted good.
I would say this location tends to be above average for McDonald's, and this time was no different. Everything was made perfectly to be quite honest. Much thanks to the crew!
It was my only option for a burger at this time of night, and it was really good.

Ok, so it’s a McDonald’s. The food isn’t great, it’s not particularly clean, and the ambiance is lacking. I also get that no one really wants to work here, but the guy behind the counter scowled at me like I’d insulted his mother (after carefully ignoring me for about 10 minutes until I had to verbally ask for help). Moments before he had been laughing and joking with his coworker, so it wasn’t his mood, he just hates customers and wants to make sure we know that. I’ve worked in food service, and I understand it’s not a great job, but I didn’t do anything to this dude. I was polite, I asked nicely, and I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable- just needed to pay because the kiosk payment wasn’t working.
I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a less hospitable vibe as a customer. It was downright aggressive for no reason. The same guy delivered our tray to the play area and practically tossed it onto the table. I said thanks and he just walked away. Like, did he confuse me with someone else that he hates??
This review is specifically about the McDonalds at 2630 NE Hwy 20 in Bend and our experience over about a year and a half going there regularly.
At first it seemed better than the previous location. They eventually learned how we like our coffee and things felt more consistent. But over time, the same issues started to show up, just in a different way.
The biggest problem was how we were treated every morning. There was almost always an attitude. Short responses, no engagement, and a clear sense that we were an inconvenience just for being there.
What stood out the most was how often we were ignored at the counter. We would walk in, stand there waiting, and watch them serve car after car in the drive thru while we were not acknowledged at all. This was not a one time thing. This happened regularly, and sometimes we were left standing there for 20 to 25 minutes.
At that point it stops being busy and starts being a choice. In store customers were clearly not a priority.
Eventually I said something about it because we spend money there and being ignored like that is not acceptable. From that moment on, everything shifted even more.
We were treated like a problem simply for speaking up.
My girlfriend had an order made incorrectly and politely asked for it to be fixed. That should have been a simple correction. Instead, it turned into a situation where they refused to serve us anymore.
That was the final outcome. Not fixing the mistake. Not addressing the issue. Just refusing service.
We were not rude. We were not causing a scene. We asked for a correct order and basic acknowledgment as customers.
What stands out is how quickly the situation escalated from normal interaction to being removed entirely. It felt less like customer service and more like staff not wanting to deal with anything outside of the easiest possible interaction.
This location does not just have service issues. It has a serious problem with how it handles customers when something goes even slightly off.
