  Stopped in to the cricket last night and had the full platter. Food was pretty dang good. Not sure what wood they use to smoke, but I really like the peppery rub they use. I will be back.

  Never again. I don’t know if it’s because I’m from Texas and we have BBQ that’s hard to compare to but I will not come back here again. The pulled pork was decent. The brisket was good. The burnt ends tasted as if they were warmed up. They were hard and cold. Sausage had good flavor. But the potato salad?! What the heck was that? Never have I had a potato salad that didn’t taste or look like potato salad. Disgusting to say the least. The elote dip was decent. This establishment needs a crash course in good ol fashioned BBQ. Not bistro BBQ.

  10/10. This could compete with any top tier Texas BBQ. Shocking to find this quality in Oregon, but here we are. This is a must visit. Brisket is amazing. Sausage was fantastic. Loved the tallow fries.

  We travel all over the state. Good MIDWEST STYLE BBQ is very hard to find. . . Hattie's is DEFINITELY the BEST in this state! Food was BEYOND exceptional, the atmosphere was fun and well lit, with the wholesome country vibe you WANT to feel - with a splash of lively cowboy ❤️ service was the best I have had in months. . From ALL cities I have been to. . Friendly smiling and genuinely happy to see customers, and that service never wavered. If you want an incredible food experience, that is slap yo momma good- you HAVE TO GO HERE.

  Highly recommend! A Crazy delicious lunch was had by my wife and I yesterday at Hattie’s. The pork bbq sandwich did not even need any bbq sauce the meat was so tender and delicious (and I don’t Eat bbq sandos without it). My wife enjoyed her (very crispy!) fried chicken sandwich too. Next time she’ll ask for an alternative to the buffalo sauce—I’m sure they’ve got a tasty option. Hatties uses Ed’s buns and they’re always good. The coleslaw was wonderful too—much more flavorful than most places. Fries are included and they are cooked in tallow—I’ve never in my life had such delicious fries. I’m a fry guy and I’ve literally never voluntarily eaten my fries without catsup until these. But they Did Not even need a sauce. Portions were generous. The service was amazing too—our server/bartender was very present, courteous and responsive to our appreciation for an A+ meal experience. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars on atmosphere is it’s a bit dark in there for lunch, unless you like that kinda thing. But they’re walking a fine line between restaurant during the day and bar/club at night—go check ‘em out. I’m sure it’s a hopping evening scene too. Cheers.
