Straight out of Cyprus, this firm cheese comes to the table hot and squeaky, topped with shallots, garlic, green olives, tomatoes, capers and lemon, finished with pomegranate reduction.
Our take on a modern staple: fresh mixed greens, roasted red beets, fresh raspberries, and goat cheese, tossed with raspberry vinaigrette. Then, just for good measure, walnuts. Candied, of course.
Inspired by the palette outside our windows, grilled salmon on a bed of fresh greens, with brown rice, sliced apple, blue cheese crumbles, and candied walnuts, tied together with an herb vinaigrette.

A spicy black bean patty, handled with natural and grateful hands, shares the stage with lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, pepper-Jack cheese, and chipotle aioli. Seasoned fries tie it all together.

Golden state flavor with nary a beach in sight. Juicy grilled chicken breast, pepper-Jack cheese, and avocado, not to mention lettuce, tomato, onion, and chipotle aioli. Fries? You got it.
Saucy, rich, and well dressed for a night out, our classic farfalle pasta comes adorned with shallots, bacon, spinach, chicken, and tomato. If that's not decadent enough, we toss it ever so gently in a silky cream and Asiago sauce. Who are you to resist?

We were at Greg’s for a business event for a title company and had a great time. Even with it being busy, our server Lisa was so sweet and made sure everything was perfect. We will be back for another event on the patio soon!

Greg’s hosted us (6) all on their patio facing the sunset and the river, atmosphere and surroundings were lovely. Food was yummy, and unique enough for each person to love it. The warm cabbage salad was delicious, someone also had ribs, and fish and chips. What truly made the evening was our server, Mallory, she was the best! Helped with suggestions, had tried all the dishes and even gave tips for subbing out some fun goat cheese. This restaurants location is one of one, absolutely lovely, it’s second to none!

I’m a big fan of Greg’s Grill. It’s one of my favorite places in the Old Mill for a meal, a pint, or just an excuse to sit somewhere with a great view.
The setting is the obvious highlight. Greg’s looks out over the Deschutes River toward the amphitheater, with the Cascades in the distance. For a sunset dinner, it’s hard to beat—especially from the patio when the weather cooperates, or from one of the booths by the windows.
The interior is beautiful too, and the full bar is more impressive than you might expect. There are also a few TVs around the bar, so it works surprisingly well when you want a nicer meal without completely ignoring the game.
Service has been attentive, friendly, and excellent nearly every time I’ve visited. I did have one slower experience a few months ago, but that has definitely been the exception rather than the rule.
My main criticism is the menu, particularly the appetizer section. There are only a handful of starters, and most of them aren’t the kind of familiar, shareable options you might expect when stopping in for drinks and a bite. A little more variety would make Greg’s an even easier choice.
Still, between the atmosphere, the service, the bar, and one of the best dining views in Bend, Greg’s Grill remains an easy recommendation—and one of the Old Mill’s best spots for dinner with a view.

Excellent food and wonderful atmosphere. Great music, not too loud , and the design of the interior was open, classy and well decorated! The only complaint was the halibut sandwich was strong tasting when we’ve had a milder halibut elsewhere. The steak was excellent. The service was top notch. Everyone was pleasant and helpful and our waitress Mallory was wonderful! We also loved the view of the Deschutes R and the many floaters!
