Terrible experience at self-checkout. Came in sick with the flu to buy cold medicine. The machine required an ID, and because I didn't have it on me, the attendant completely went off on my wife and me. I am 36 years old and clearly over the age of 18. Instead of calmly explaining the store policy or helping us find an alternative medication, he raised his voice, got aggressive, and shouted that he wasn't going to lose his job over us. Incredibly rude, unprofessional, and lacking any basic compassion for sick customers.
Also this store is tiny, narrow aisles and poor selection. Needs to be updated. Prices are inflated and store feels like it's from 1990s

I was shopping here last week June 15th and they had a hole in the floor near the produce section. I tripped and sprained my ankle. I’ve tried to get a hold of someone to file a complaint and a claim. no response. This is negligence. I’m not happy with this service or situation.

The guy in the meat department with brown hair, about 30, is so incredibly creepy. The first time I encountered him, he was hosing down the tables, and the floor. I waited patiently, because he had a job to do. He turned around, and walked up to the counter, and just looked at me, with a really irritated expression. I apologized for interrupting him, and asked him for what I was needing in a courteous tone. He got it for me, then just handed it to me, again with a really irritated expression. I said thank you. He never said one word the whole time! I thought wow, he must be having a really bad day. I went in again about week later, and needed some meat that was not on the floor. He was working again, but this time he was being friendly to a few of the customers at the counter. I thought oh wow, so he was just having a bad day last time. So, I went over and asked him in a courteous manner if he had any of the meat in the back that I was looking for. He ,AGAIN, gave me a look like he loathes me with every cell in his body, and got the meat I needed, and just handed it to me while giving me a really hateful look. Again, no words! I said "thank you" in a friendly tone . This is minutes after he was just smiling and being friendly with a few other customers! I literally was going to ask him what his problem with me was!? That's how extremely personal his hate towards me seemed. I rarely ever shop here (those were the only times I have ever even been in the meat section), so he obviously doesn't even know me at all. So many of the employees at this store are flat out rude, with horrible attitudes, but he is on a whole other level! I will avoid this hell hole like the plague. The Safeway on Barrows, a mile away, is 2000 times better! The employees there are respectful, helpful, and don't act like they hate customers!
