  I could tell this place wasn't put together good when the door was still closed at 7:00 and one of the managers was coming across the parking lot with her bags. Am I the only one who's sick at looking at a price tag with three different prices on it. I explained to the two managers as they were doing their morning drama session that I thought I was overcharged One of the three prices for the coffee they both walked away without saying anything rudely. I guess this is the way they treat all their customers eventually one came back to me with a newspaper She couldn't find the coffee in the newspaper so I wasn't going to get the digital price. I was still pissed off so I set my receipt in my coffee down and walk back to the back of the store only to discover there is three prices on the coffee digital price customer loyalty price and regular price I was charged the one in the middle by the time I got back up to the stand the manager checker lady was far too busy to deal with me or my inconsistencies with price and told me that I would have to wait. I told her no need in waiting I will just go post a review and hopefully Safeway will replace her with someone who knows how to do their job treat customers and that actually can respond to a customer that's asking for some clarification about the inconsistencies and price. I don't understand how they promote people that show up late and can't get the door open at 7:00 how do these people become the managers how did these people get in charge quite obviously incompetent they can't even get the door open on time!! Why would they if they're not reprimanded for opening on time while customers waiting the cold for late managers!!!!

  There are a few really good workers at this safeway but I've purchased countless items to bring home and find out the sale by/expiration date is well past due. I understand a few here in there but at this point it feels like they've just given up caring. Even in the children food section. Several items well passed due date.

  Just now went through the self checkout with 5 small items, the machine refused my debit card, stood there looking around for the cashier, waited a good 5 mins, the woman working that station (dark hair, maybe 50 yrs old) took her sweet time to walk over and help me. I nicely explained there was plenty of money on the card but it had probably exceeded the limit and handed her a 20 dollar bill. She proceeded to SLOWLY pull out 4 dollars and some change, she repeatedly counted the four 1 dollar bills at least 3 times with maybe 60 cents in her hand before I grabbed MY bills (left the change) and walked out. Im not the sweetest person in the world but I in no way was rude or disrespectful. This woman seemed on a vengeance for absolutely no reason. Its like walking into a store and watching the cashier count 10 dollars in pennies! Absolutely unacceptable!!
