From our view there were few cars in the parking lot and we were the first ones to pull into the drive thru. I ordered quickly because my order was simple. Two McDoubles. Nothing special just that. Audibly we could hear the order taker sigh as if it was an inconvenience. Okay maybe she is having a bad day. I get it, I used to manage fast food restaurants back in the day. At the window we were treated with just the total and do we want a receipt. No smile, no hello... Okay must be a very bad day. On our end we were polite and said thank you and everything. Our two little pups were held back politely but they were trying there best to say hello. When we get to the second window it was just a flat toned please pull to spot 1 on the left. Well it was sort of polite, but really looks like the whole crew was having a bad day.
I didn't think much about waiting for my food, maybe they needed to make them fresh. After more time though we were starting to get curious. I looked back inside the building and seen a few families inside eating, but no lines. One car drive past us, okay probably a door dash order. Makes sense why they had us pull up. Then they park another car, which was quickly followed by another. It has been about 8 minutes now and we were more than a bit concerned. At 10 minutes right when we were opening the doors to go in the crew member walks up and flatly says "Two McDoubles," and hands me my bag. I thank him and say have a great day and he says nothing but was frowning and they walked away.
We drive off and as I am being given my food so I can drive and eat I notice the burgers are not even close to being inside the buns. I can understand a little shift but half the bun was nothing in it. The cheese was just as much nowhere near proper placement. This ended up being the same for both burgers. Also I am lucky enough to have some spare napkins because there was none in the bag at all.
My heart goes out to the staff, I really hope they can learn to have a better day, but if their application comes across my desk at my workplace, I will pass and move on to a different candidate.

My daughters and I went into this McDonalds on 9/12 and placed our order for curbside pickup at 4:20. After waiting about 10 minutes or so, our order was brought out while my daughters went inside (to order extra sauces cause we didn’t get enough) while I waited for our food. Worker brings the food out, and I’m so worried about the sauces I paid for, I’m doubting those and didn’t realize I had missing food. So I told her I was missing 3 of the sauces ( not including the ones that come with the meal) so she ran inside to grab them, I did not realize the 4 cheeseburgers I had ordered were missing. Soon as I did, I walked into the store to let them know I was missing four burgers and the way all 3 of the girls treated me was sickening. They kept talking in Spanish between them, with attitude and just plain rudeness pouring out of them, saying they couldn’t see the order anymore and walking back and fourth but not addressing me directly. I am Hispanic, I don’t know how they couldn’t tell, but I asked them in Spanish and said “ I have no reason to lie to you. I’m not gonna come in here after spending $40 to try and steal 4 cheeseburgers either no pickle!” So I pull up my receipt from the APP, and one of the girls came to look at it, now one thing I hate about McDonald’s app is that no matter how many things you order on an item, it only shows up as one if it’s not a meal !!!!!! Someone in corporate needs to fix that. And when I showed them, she kept telling me “that’s only one cheeseburger!” So I understand why they would think I was lying. Remember when I said NO PICKLES on the burgers? My fiance hates pickles. There was 4 cheeseburgers on the belt, and after me telling her repeatedly I ordered 4 with no pickle, she put the cheeseburgers in the bag, put them on the counter still giving me attitude and stank face and told me “AQUÍ ESTÁN SUS HAMBURGESAS!!!” Which translates to “HERES YOUR BURGERS!” I’m still pleading my case telling them I’m not there to steal from them, I just wanted the food I paid for. She repeated that a couple times with such attitude… Now, I know McDonald’s does not make food until it’s being ordered, so if I didn’t pay for 4 cheeseburgers with no pickle, why was it that she was able to grab from the belt to give to me? What are the odds that they would make exactly 4 with NO PICKLES?! I almost didn’t want to take the burgers. My total was $40 and some change. I got the shareable spicy nuggets with 2 large fries, 1 small fry, 4 cheeseburgers and 6 extra sauces besides the ones that one with the meal. Also, because my rewards are at over 15,000 just in the last two weeks, I was able to get a free large fry. I’m breaking this down, so management sees that I had no intention of coming into a McDonalds and be treated like some sort of bum trying to steal food. All 3 Hispanic girls were so rude. Also, I mentioned my daughters because we came in after a hike, and they were mean-mugged for leaving traces of mud on a wet floor that was cleaned at literally dinner time, when more than likely the restaurant will be busy on a Saturday evening. I was told when we moved to Portland a month ago, that people were racist here towards Hispanics, but Portland had greeted us with open arms. it’s sad to see my own people treating other Latinos the way those girls treated us. This McDonald’s is our local store just down the street, but from now on, I will take my business to the store on Barbur, even though they take 45 minutes to fulfill my orders every time. I would rather the long wait, than to be treated like some sort of criminal.
