- DMDebbie MarvinSep 25, 20263.0The burgers here are good. I think they’d be a lot better if they offered a fried egg or Swiss cheese with their mushrooms. The biggest issue, as I see it, is their fries. Their terrible fries is the reason I no longer go there. Anyone who makes homemade fries knows you fry them once then let them rest a few minutes before frying them again to crisp them up. 5 Guys completely misses the second step. Their fries are greasy and soggy. A few times, I’d order food from them and then refry the fries when I got home. But that’s a chore I shouldn’t have to do. They could make them turn out so good if they just double fried them. I recently overheard a conversation in another restaurant where a couple said these were the worst fries ever. I don’t know if other restaurant locations cook them differently and it’s just the one located in Cedar Hills that is terrible. I’d be willing try them elsewhere. But for now, I’ll stick with fries at chick fil a, or Wendy’s, or Jack in the Box. McDonald’s…..

Ridiculous to see order after order of food and shakes sent out when all i had was shakes waiting for everybody’s food to be done before i even get the only thing i ordered. 2 shakes.

They were served soft, squishy and impossibly oily. My wife described them as a nasty road smears. Clearly the temperature was off and no one seemed to care about checking their work. Thumbs down. We are attempting to resurrect them in our air fryer. Their online survey has no place at all to put in comments. Will the dead speak again? Will we be able to resurrect the desecrated potatoes?

Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
