  Last year I ordered a gluten free chocolate birthday with fresh fruit. $40.00 It was ok so I tried again this year. Same type of cake. I talked to the person taking my order and told them about last year and crossed my fingers. This one was very dry and crumble. This one was $60.00.. there will not be a next year. My cake looked nothing like this..

  Vida Baking Co. was an incredible partner for this year’s independent film festival! They generously donated 40 gift cards for our filmmaker swag bags, which was such a thoughtful touch and very appreciated by our guests. Clayton is an absolute joy. Down-to-earth and genuinely fun to be around. We loved working with them and would happily collaborate again in the future.

  Until now, I have loved this place. Special food. The women who work there are so kind. Why the two stars? I was just there with a flyer. A young man was at the counter. They were closing. A man with a beard seemed to be helping. I expressed a desire to put up the flyer on the side of the building where there was a board for decades.The older man did not kindly say no. He held his head high and with real snobbery said, we do not do flyers anymore. Now that this new cafe has a clientele, are they snubbing the community? It seems that way. He could have said the same thing differently. It was not what he said (though Ashland sure has changed) it’s how he said it. Really?? Not for me. Goodbye Vida! Too bad!

  This is the cutest, most chill bakery in town. Their food is freshly delicious, with impeccable quality and with the best taste you’re gonna experience. The owners are the most friendly couple ever. AND they have events with live music too??? Wow. If you haven’t been, please give yourself this present. Get in there and ask for their pork sandwich and their Brazilian carrot cake cause that cake is just fantastic. Also don’t even worry about feeling bloated cause everything is gluten free 💅🏻 you’re welcome.

  One of the GEMS of Ashland. I am Gluten Free and these are some often BEST GF baked goods I have ever had. They also have vegan options. It’s hard to find both at one place, but they’ve got em! The beverages are fantastic too especially the iced matcha. The cafe style food is yummy and fresh. Owners are amazing and friendly and care about their work and the community. A must for anyone visiting (or living) in Ashland. Love, Love, LOVE.
