The inventory is a joke, it’s always a mess, the employees are completely useless and act like you’re supposed to just work around them instead of them being available to help. Came in tonight and was trying to grab a cart but the employee wouldn’t move so I could grab it until I had to actually tell him to get out of my way. Clearly they don’t want people to actually shop here.

I had placed a large fruit tray order for pickup, and when the fruit quality wasn’t up to standard and they were sold out of extras, she proactively called me to walk through options. We ran into a technical issue that canceled my order, but Amy went above and beyond, she even contacted IT and worked with me directly to figure out a solution. We ended up making it work by completing the order in store. She was kind, patient, and clearly cares about her customers. The fruit trays turned out great for the teachers and staff at Hazeldale Elementary. Really appreciate her effort in making it all come together. Thank you, Amy!

She requested a Black Panther cake with chocolate cake , buttercream filling. We ordered this cake over a week in advance! We also requested to have "Happy blank birthday blank " . When my husband went to pick it up, Safeway said they did not have our Cake. Safeway said their baker was off today4/23. We ordered this cake over a week before the due date on 4/14. Safeway did not make our cake. We asked again and they said they probably lost the form a SAFEWAY EMPLOYEE filled out. Same girl we gave the request to, told us she lost it. She then offered $10 off a cake in the case and proceeded to give us the wrong cake toper. My daughter requested Black Panther and received Darth Vader. When we realized it we called Management. They told us the baker is off today and it is what it is. Never will we order a cake from them. We will probably stop shopping there because the quality keeps going down and they obviously do not care about their long term Shoppers.
