Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

He, after 10 days in the States, was the first person we actually wanted to tip as he went out of his way to help us. He declined the tip, showing his professional intend. Thanks a lot, Lauren! All future Whataburgers for us will be a reminder to your location.

Mostly high school kids with a manager overseeing them. It sometimes is a hit or miss on the correct order and the teas usually need to be filled. However, I go back because it is far more superior than other quick stops.

And it didn’t have no French fries. Asked for my French fries, then had to ask for ketchup. If I would have known that I had to ask for every thing I could have made it myself. The manager was standing by and didn’t say nothing! Very unprofessional! & Poor service! The meal wasn’t hot, more like Luke warm! After seeing what a horrible place this was, I didn’t even bother to speak to a manager that doesn’t even care about the customer! I came in at 8:35pm and leaving at 9:05pm! The staff that was working was loud n crazy. Standing around Talking crap to one another. When I asked one employee where my order was, he said they make drive thru first. Mind you, no one was in the lobby!
