0/5 stars. We booked a 7:45 reservation on Aug 16 to celebrate our anniversary — our first time back at Jimmy’s in over a year, and now our last. We were basically ignored for a full 20 minutes. This wasn’t a busy-night excuse — the restaurant was relatively quiet, and a couple seated after us had drinks and food orders taken within minutes.
When a server finally appeared 6-7 minutes in, she was curt taking our drink order, then disappeared entirely. After 20 minutes with no further contact, we walked out.
We went straight to Fleming’s. Seated immediately, and our server Morgan was attentive from the first minute to the last — the difference was night and day.
Jimmy’s is a waste of an evening. If you want to be treated like an afterthought, Jimmy’s is your place. Otherwise, go to Fleming’s and ask for Morgan.

Steaks had zero seasoning. Filets are an easy dish, but they couldn’t figure it out I guess. Wife’s steak had no flavor and was undercooked. Prime rib served without horseradish. Server was new and hadn’t been trained it seemed. Waste of time and money. 1 star is being generous.

Food was below average for premium price. I will not be returning.
🔥🔥Jimmy’s has gone way downhill like other McNellie’s establishments. We visited for a b-day celebration & were completely underwhelmed. IT’S TELLING AS THEY ONLY RESPOND TO POSITIVE REVIEWS!!🔥🔥 Our server initially approached us by awkwardly asking if we wanted still water - no “hello” no “welcome” no intro, nothing - just “still water???”
As for food - chopped salad not fully chilled as it should be; prime rib sandwich was lukewarm as was the au jus, & the meat resembled something someone else had chewed up and stuffed between a baguette - salty and dry; French fries were lukewarm as if they sat there waiting to be brought out: sea bass entree was very good; prickly pear martinis were spot on as always.
Other observations:
- what’s up with the server t-shirt uniforms and man buns? I wasn’t sure if they were bussers , servers, or randos from the street. You’re charging $60+ for a pork chop or a steak - is it too much to expect that servers look like they’re selling $60+ plates?
- when people drop items at a table, it’s customary to say something like “here’s your chopped salad” - vs someone just running by and dropping it off abruptly.
- why are servers dropping food to multiple tables at once? Why were to-go bags for other tables hanging near my fresh food that’s being delivered?? You have so many server bad habits that need to be addressed. Again, we’re paying a lot of money for dinner so have the decency to staff accordingly and train your people.
- why did it seem like you were short staffed? You knew it was Dad’s day - jeesh - no sign of any management either unless they wear tshirts and man buns too??????
So all in all, the martinis were the star of the show - everything else was mediocre at best - low value and I wished I hadn’t spent the money
Finally, no acknowledgement or mention of the birthday - I don’t really care and we’re not trying to get anything free. But why do you/open table bother asking???
The parking lot is atrocious - if I wanted to walkthrough endless trash & 2 ft high weeds, I would have worn work boots. .
💥💥I complained to the McNellie’s group and their alleged “CEO” Elliot Nelson directly multiple times but to no avail. Apparently , they don’t value customer feedback.💥💥
Jimmy’s is “off the list” just like Yokozuna, also a McNellie’s establishment.
