  Took a little road trip with my friend and stopped at Stroud Sonic because we were absolutely parched. Unfortunately, it took 20 minutes just to bring out our drinks after saying something, and when they finally did, the order was still wrong. On top of that, the cups were covered in strawberry residue, which was honestly pretty gross. When we complained, Laci answered the button, but the whole interaction was extremely awkward as well like she didn’t know how to talk. She apologized, which I appreciate, but the overall experience was still disappointing. Thank you, Stroud Sonic, for reminding me why sometimes it’s better to just keep driving. I definitely won’t be coming back. 😭

  I don't generally leave reviews like this one but this was totally ridiculous. We went only for drinks. Pulled into a stall. Ordered. We waited and waited. We started noticing that there were only three cars other than ours. Three parked in stalls and one going through the drive-thru. Then we notice that there is one car hop and another girl that is sweeping the floors. The car hop is taking orders, working drive-thru and going around to the fountain to make drinks. We also notice a young man who we assume is doing the cooking. So, we wait and wait even longer. Soon there are only two cars in the stalls. The other car had just received their order and another vehicle pulled up next to us and they placed their order. We wait and wait. Finally we see the carhop go around and make our drinks and we had ordered a smoothie. She proceeded to make drinks for the other vehicle as well. Then she comes back around and she waits for a bit and then she grabs an order to bring out. We are thinking that it is ours but nope, it's not. It was the other vehicles food and drink order. Ours is still sitting on the tray inside with the ice cream melting. Don't know particularly what the issue was that day but we had had enough. That just was not acceptable no matter how you look at it. Sorry Sonic but please do better.

  Not worth it unless it’s your only option. I typically enjoy the food at sonic however, today is experience is making me question where the company is going. I ordered a ultimate meat and tease burrito. There was one slice of bacon three orbs of sausage and two tater tots. I don’t know where the word ultimate and meat come in to play to this subpar burrito, but on top of that, it’s half the size of the burritos at any other Sonic I have visited in the last year if that were the only problem it would’ve been nice however I had to sit here for half an hour, watching every vehicle around me leave show up and leave again before I got out of my vehicle and had to walk up to the porch area and hit the button there to ask where my food was because it had been marked as delivered four minutes prior to me getting out of the vehicle. This is unacceptable and at any other company, including the one that I currently work for the employee responsible would be fired for stealing and lying. I understand it’s fast food and my expectations may be higher than some people would for this type of position, but if you’re going to take my money, I expect to at least be properly exchanged not provided sub standard product. Next time I will go out of my way to go to a competitor, especially one that will at least provide me with adequate compensation. Hope you figure it out or at this rate you’ll be one of the next ones to go out of business.
