Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I love the sweet and spicy burger and the banana pudding shake. They also have a superb rewards app on android and apple. My husband and I are frequent flyers through the Whataburger drive thru! They even have a merch store online. If you haven't tried a Whataburger cinnamon roll, this is your sign you need to. ❤️

When my vehicle unexpectedly caught fire in the parking lot, everything felt out of control within seconds. Flames were rising, people were shouting, and I was just trying to process what was happening. Through all of that, Candace stepped in with incredible composure. She helped make sure I got to a safe distance and checked that I was okay, showing real concern in the middle of the chaos. But what really stood out was how she kept things moving even as the situation unfolded. Despite the emergency outside, she made sure my order, and my friends orders were prepared and ready in just four minutes after ordering. That level of efficiency alone would be impressive on a normal day—but during an active emergency, it felt almost unbelievable. Candace balanced urgency, professionalism, and compassion all at once. She didn’t let the pressure affect her ability to do her job, and she didn’t overlook the people involved either. It’s not every day you experience both great service and genuine heroism at the same time, but Candace delivered both without missing a beat.
