Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Food was not great. They didn’t give us the sizes we ordered on the shakes, less of a big deal because I could not have handled the actual small. They took up the parking for to go orders and left us parking further away.

The employees greeted customers with genuine smiles, took the time to make sure every order was right, and kept the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. Even during the busy moments, the team stayed patient, upbeat, and attentive. You can tell they truly care about making people feel valued. I also want to give a special shout-out to my sister TARA, who works there. I’m incredibly proud of how hard she works and how much heart she puts into her job. It means a lot to see someone I love treating every customer with kindness and helping create such a positive experience. Between the fresh, satisfying food, thoughtful service, and cheerful atmosphere, this Whataburger is definitely worth a visit. Great food, great people, and a place that leaves you smiling.
