Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- TBTroy Braswell3 days ago1.0First it took an hour to get my order. An hour. Then it’s just……meh. Hamburger buns are hard. Lettuce chunks not leafs. The white part of the lettuce no one eats. I don’t care how busy a fast food chain restaurant is, it should never take an hour to get food out. I’ll blame the management since it starts there. Would love to speak to the regional manager. Usually the order is wrong in some manner. I don’t know why I don’t just stop going here. People shouldn’t waste their time. It’s simply not worth it. An hour for two jr burgers a patty melt and some fries. This place sucks.
- JBJennifer BreauxMay 10, 20261.0This place is so expensive for nothing. Just went and got 3 breakfast meals for $30. Just the sandwich and 4 strips of hashbrown. I ordered sausage, egg and cheese and got home and it was bacon. Wasn’t another car in the drive thru or parking lot.

Everyone in the drive thru is always cheerful and friendly, and the same can be said for those working inside. In my experience, the orders are accurate and spot on with the Whataburger flavor!
- CHCameron HadleyMay 4, 20261.0This crew has got to get it together. I consistently wait at least twenty minutes for my food at this Whataburger and half the time something is wrong with my order. As someone who works in food/drink service, this is likely a problem with the manager not instilling good work ethic into the employees. It could be lack of cooks in the kitchen. I really couldn't say for sure. Currently typing this while I've been waiting the first ten of my, at least, twenty minute wait for my food. There are three people in front of me...wish me luck.

If I had a thermometer to check the heat of the food it would not pass health department standards I promise. If I go to McDonald’s in some very rare circumstance, like if I was absolutely starving and nothing else was around at all, I would expect food like that. Not Whataburger.
