Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- OKOwen Kelly2 days ago3.0Overall, the food and service is good at this location. My complaint involves order accuracy when ordering via Whataburger's website only. We have placed several orders via the website from this location, and many times the orders are not accurate to the options selected on the website. I don't know if this is website or employee related issue. On 8/27/26 we ordered three double Whataburger's and two large fries with spicy ketchup. The spicy ketchup was not included with the fries. My burger included Texas toast when it should have been a regular bun. Another burger was to include sweet and spicy sauce, extra grilled onions and no diced onions. That burger came with diced onions, no sweet and spicy sauce, and no grilled onions. 1 out of 3 burgers was correct. Management should review and let corporate know what is going on. Mabey the website needs review. Staff have been willing to correct issues when made known.

I ate one before realizing what was going on, and now I’m extremely sick—vomiting and dealing with significant stomach issues. This is not something I expected from a restaurant, especially when it comes to properly cooking beef. Food safety should be taken seriously, and finding raw meat in two burgers is unacceptable. I really hope Whataburger looks into this because no customer should have to deal with getting sick from their food.

- KMKaylee MyersJul 24, 20264.0Stopped by earlier for a meal for me and my mom, and the young lady up front believe her name was Wendy was very kind and had such spectacular customer service. Cannot forget the fact that not only was she very beautiful but gosh her personality was so very lovely! It’s been a while since I went out to eat and received this level of lovely service, half the times teens working are just very rude and mean but she was just so different. But honestly if you’re looking for somewhere to go eat I’d say 100% come here!
