Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- AGAly Garcia6 days ago4.0The kid who took my order "Cam" was a little odd, he rushed me to order and spoke so fast like he should work at QT! I ordered a small fry but I guess he didn't hear me so when my food came out it was not a complete meal. I had to go back to the register to order my small fry and waited 10 damn minutes for it, my sandwich got cold. The service here needs an update. I probably won't be back for a few weeks, maybe he'll quit and I won't have to deal with that kind of service again. Kids I tell you!!!!

They make a few mistakes now and then but they have always been quick to address the issues and the employees have normally been kind. Yesterday I ordered the same meal I always order. Unfortunately I received the wrong burger. I documented the mistake with a picture and receipt. Today I went to the same location and showed the manager the details. She said they would replace it. Then after a short time she handed me a replacement burger. I asked if I needed to pay separately for the rest of the meal, fries and a drink? She said "Well they didn't mess up the fries or drink did they". I am honestly shocked by that response. This is not the way they have ever handled a mistake on a meal. I was not happy but I stated that I would pay for the fries and a drink. I don't think it is the right way to handle it but it's not like we are talking about a lot of money. It's more of a principal issue with the poor customer service. She was Very Rude! Then she said she was not going to charge me for the meail. I really like the food and most of the employees but I am not spending another penny at a location with a store manager that acts like that.
