  I seriously cannot believe how slow this place is 🤣 I went in to get a sausage, egg and cheese croissant and a large iced coffee. Simple enough, right?! Well, I’m inside and the store seemed to be short staffed. I can understand life happening, but what’s interesting, there was LITERALLY no sense of urgency to help guests both inside and at the drive thru. There’s this one dude who was at the window moving slower than molasses in January. Giggling with a guest in the front about graduating in 2025, meanwhile LINES of drinks and food items are getting watered down and colder as the minutes pass. The manager (I’m assuming) was nice but also, focused solely on trying to rush the drive thru orders because bucko just couldn’t get his rear in gear and move with purpose. Poor manager, I know how it is having someone as a weak link and you can only be as strong as your weakest performer. Pitiful. I ended up recognizing her frustration and felt bad, but I had to get back to work. I asked to just have 2 donuts after I got my iced coffee, as a replacement for my sandwich. Why were these donuts day old 😂 like never mind me not getting what I ordered, and opted into getting something quicker so I wouldn’t be uber late to work, I got day old donuts 😂 dawg, I would never. I’m giving this review as an opportunity for growth and development. I run a multimillion dollar business. I’ve had my share of ups and downs. I completely get it. But there has got to be a change with who and how we hire. Educating employees on the need of moving with a sense of speed and not just being so careless. I get buddy is like 19 or 20 and at the point of life where YOLO is the greatest option and the manager is trying to not lose her cool because she’s gotta work with the employees she’s got, but staffing those who are focused and looking to improve the business that’s paying them is key. I know they can do better, and I’d like to not have a repeat of this experience again. This review will be updated or edited on my next visit to see if improvements have changed.

  The manager and workers are always friendly and helpful if I'm not sure what to order drink-wise. This location is kept very clean. I recently tried a couple of the refreshers and they're really good. The sausage egg and cheese croissant is always fresh and delicious! Definitely recommend!

  This location is regularly sold out of product. Manager has a bad attitude with employees.

  Way to take a great Chicago tradition and throw it to the toilet. Kids didn't even know what a long John was. NEVER ANY DOUGHNUTS. So poorly run. Not worth the drive out.
