Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Fairly new location. First impressions are lasting impressions. Was disappointed that they have two dedicated lanes, both were open, no one behind me and still told to pull forward and park waiting on "fresh fries." I just wonder out of the five vehicles that came through after me, most in the other lane, if none ordered fries? If drive-thrus don't already know, people are getting irritated about having to pull forward, especially when no one is behind them.
And for corporate, your employees are making your stats incorrect when they know they are being timed and they stop the timer when they have someone move forward. Corporate can't fix issues or complaints when their data doesn't show an issue.

The food is delicious! The only problem that I have is that they ask if you would like condiments and never put the items in the bag. I usually order biscuits and gravy but never get utensils or ketchup. The SW 59th location is amazing but this one just happens to be a lot closer to my house now. As someone who has worked in fast food common sense would be to include utensils, napkins, ketchup etc regardless if the customer ask or not

Shakes always fire!!!! Gaven’t had a bad meal since they opened and no matter the time of day or night they always have cool and helpful staff!
