Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- CScamrynn SandsSep 12, 20261.0The drive thru literally is always atleast a 30 minute sit time , the service ESPECIALLY at night is terrible . it seems to be a very “ playful “ and unserious environment , getting laughed at through the headset while taking my order and employees always just being unprofessional. Tonight specifically when we got to window we got charged for someone else’ food so while we were waiting for them to figure that out another worker asked us to pay AGAIN , then the manager finally comes to the window and his first response is “ we have to get them out of the window” instead of trying to offer help . then when it was refunded my husband wasn’t seeing the transaction come back into his account and as he was explaining that (to me ) the manager rudely interrupted and said “ it IS ON THERE BECAUSE I KNOW FOR A FACT I JUST REFUNDED it “ … then they didn’t have ranch so we asked for jalapeño ranch and a honey butter instead and were told we needed to pay 54 cents for a honey butter after all the inconvenience we couldn’t even get a sauce LOL . so as my husband says ok we will pay for sauce the manager again says “ I need yall to pull forward to get the sauce you’re running up my drive thru window time “ as if it wouldn’t just be quicker to give us the sauce in the window so we could pull off , and MIND YOU we’ve only been in the window this long because you and your employees don’t know how to operate an establishment ! this is not the first time i’ve had issues at this specific location , 0/10 never recommend.
