Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Blake and her team are just incredible. I've been to many whataburgers and this one is one of my absolute favorites.

I went into this location today (6/21/26), was not greeted nor acknowledged. Stood in front of the counter for 5 minutes, only to be completely ignored. I was hungry, but I guess I am not anymore...

I may just stop eating at this location.
I love Whataburger. I grew up in Texas, it's a guilty pleasure of mine, and I was genuinely excited when I moved up the street from one. We ordered delivery a few times, and every single time the sauce was forgotten.
A place known for its ketchup forgetting the ketchup is ironic. Fine, lesson learned. We started going through the drive-thru instead.
The last visit, I specifically checked the bag before leaving. There was ketchup in there, but when I got home there were only two packets for four meals, and the spicy ketchup was missing entirely. This visit? No ketchup at all.
I honestly don't get it. Possibly adopt a process to make sure sauces aren't left out. Chick-fil-A remembers the sauce. McDonald's remembers the sauce. Somehow the restaurant famous for its ketchup can't seem to remember the ketchup.
I still love Whataburger, but this location is making it really difficult to keep coming back.
