Prime Rib was delicious!
Chicken Fried Steak ... needed a bit more meat but the batter stayed on and it was very tasty. The smashed potatoes were chunky and great. The potato soup was a bit watery but will ask for no bacon next time. The coffee was terrible!!!
We sat at the bar and they were busy. Service was A+

I loved my waitress, she was so awesome! But the food there is questionable at best. First of all, my baked potatoe soup tasted more like broccoli and carrot soup with a couple chunks of potatoe. I ordered a Mac and cheese kids meal for my son and I was give KRAFT. Why would I pay almost $9 with tax for Kraft when I can buy a box cheaper at the store. Hell, the side dish of Mac and cheese is only like 2, and that's a least "homemade." (At this point i doubt it). The cooks burned their batch of bread, and we didn't get any until we were almost done with appetizer and already spend 40ish minutes there. At the end we decided to get to go for the rest of our food that still hadn't come yet, and my husband didn't get any of his toppings on his burger and I only got 4 shrimp and 4 broccoli for a $36 meal?! To top it all off, we were charged $11 for a singular shot of bourbon, because my husband ordered an old fashion and asked for an extra shot. I will not be coming back again, would rather go anywhere else.

Every time I come here no matter how good the food is or the service at our table there's always something going on with the management or other staff members that leaves me so disappointed. Last time I went for lunch to celebrate my birthday our server Chess was wonderful and our food came out quickly. That was lessened by the other servers interrupting him to tell him about other tables. Before any assumptions are made my educational background is in the culinary arts. I got my degree at OSU IT and it was required that you take some business and service training to graduate. I love the restaurant brigade system and the functionally it brings to an inherently chaotic profession. This was the slowest I have ever seen this restaurant and the other staff (server, host, management) could not be bothered to greet a table, grab drinks, or speak to the new tables. A well run restaurant works in unity and interrupting a server trying to earn their wage at one table so that they are also put at a disadvantage at the secondary table does not speak of any unity but of chaos and a mismanaged team. A similar incident another time our server had a wardrobe malfunction after a fall. He told us he was going to tie an apron around his waist on both sides to cover the issue. I assumed so he could close out his tables. Management him home with no one covering his table(s?) so we waited 30 minutes with no idea what was going on after our meal waiting for the check. I had to flag down management to get out check and she had the unmitigated gall to insinuate the server was to blame. If a server has an unforeseen issue it's completely standard for the unfinished duties to be covered by management either by delegation or by work. You can tell no one works from dishwasher to management as Escoffier recommended and it trickles all the way down to me and my family leaving irritated every time we eat here. As you can tell we won't be back but I thought this may help someone else. If youre reading this and you think restaurants aren't that serious you're in the wrong profession.
