⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Fantastic – JK by Chef King
JK by Chef King was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. The service was exceptional, attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed without ever feeling intrusive. The atmosphere is upscale, energetic, and incredibly inviting, but the decor really sets this place apart. Talk about a sexy vibe. The floral arrangements cascading from the ceiling are especially cool and create a dramatic, almost whimsical setting that makes the entire restaurant feel unique.
Now, the food… WOW.
We started with the short rib appetizer, and it was absolutely amazing. The beef was incredibly tender, rich, and deeply flavorful, practically melting apart with every bite. It was savory, beautifully seasoned, and the kind of appetizer that immediately tells you you're in for a great meal.
Next came the steak udon noodles, and they were phenomenal. The noodles were perfectly cooked, silky and satisfying, while the steak was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor.
Everything came together beautifully with a rich, savory sauce that coated every bite. This was easily one of those dishes where everyone at the table keeps reaching back in for "just one more bite."
We also had the red curry chicken, which was absolutely delicious, creamy, aromatic, vibrant, and wonderfully balanced. The curry had layers of bold flavor with just the right combination of richness, spice, and warmth.
Finally, the Thai chicken was another winner. It was beautifully seasoned, tender, juicy, and bursting with sweet, savory, and slightly spicy flavors. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.
Between the fantastic service, gorgeous atmosphere, creative decor, and phenomenal food, JK by Chef King absolutely earned five stars from us. This isn't just somewhere you go for dinner. It's an experience.
We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I hate starting a review with a big negative, but after having such a good anniversary dinner, this really soured my feelings towards the place: they charge $8 a person for water, which I think is ridiculous. This was not disclosed to us by our waiter nor do I remember it from any menu we looked at; we were surprised by the charge only when we got our bill. This felt like such a rip off because I expect water of all things at restaurants to be complimentary, and if I had known we were going to be charged, I would instead have ordered a tea or mocktail for just a little bit more. What the heck.
Ok, with that off my chest, I actually highly recommend this place otherwise. Street parking was surprisingly easy (and free) Saturday night at 6pm. Service and our waiter were very attentive. The interior design is gorgeous. The food was creative and delicious. For appetizers we shared the pork & shrimp gyoza and the chicken & truffle dumplings, which were both good. For mains, we had the pornstar burger and the Oxtail & Bone Marrow Fried Rice, both of which we really enjoyed. The music isn't too loud, but the large TVs playing reruns of fashion runway outfits was a little distracting.
The price of this place puts it in the "once a year" category of experiences for me. After carefully considering the menu and during our visit, it felt totally worth it until the bill came with the surprise water charges. The lack of communication regarding charging for water felt disrespectful.
Trendy, overhyped, decent food.
We got the humus and pita as an app and it was very good sadly you only get 4 pita chips and get charged $3 for 4 more pita chips without being told. The music was so loud I could barely hear my partner less than 2 feet from me. My partner got the oxtail fried rice that was also very good I got the Chillain sea bass and the first one I got was super rubbery and after finally getting the waiters attention I got a new one that was much better. Overall food is decent bit overpriced considering the quality. The picture attached is the rubbery sea bass.

I came here for the first time last night with a group of 5 other ladies for a bachelorette party. We had the best time with the best food and drinks. We were greeted by Josh, one of the owners who immediately offered to take our photos in front of the gorgeous entrance.
Once we finished this photoshoot, he brought us to our table underneath the gorgeous wisteria tree in the center of the restaurant. He chatted with us a little about the restaurant and told us about the printer for the espresso martinis. He had one made for the bride with her fiancé’s face on it. How cool?!
We were soon kindly greeted by our server who offered suggestions on cocktails and answered questions on appetizers. We ordered the foie gras and chicken and truffle dumplings. Both were amazing but the foie gras was my favorite! I also ordered the Lotus Bloom cocktail. It’s amazing! I don’t like extremely sweet or strong cocktails. This was the perfect drink.
For dinner I had the salmon. Now, I have had salmon at multiple restaurants. When I say this is probably the best salmon I’ve ever had, I truly mean it. It paired so well with the jasmine rice. I’m actually craving it now thinking about it.
We opted out of dessert as we were full and the drinks were sweet enough, but I definitely would have ordered the cupcake Ferris wheel! Next time!
Chef King came to our table at the end of our meal and brought the bride a chocolate mochi. Before we left, Josh came back and spoke with us for a while. We had great conversation with him about where he’s from, the restaurant, and his vision. You can tell he is so passionate about what he does and loves serving his guests. It was a wonderful experience and now a favorite of mine.
Thank you so much for hosting us, Josh and Chef King! OKC is so lucky to have you!

I vote 3 stars mainly for the experience and prices vs food.
My friend had her birthday dinner here for 10 adults. They squeezed us in a corner booth with two tables. I should’ve taken a photo because we were really tight. I literally had to crawl and squeeze through the booth to be able to sit down. Additionally, some of the men in were sitting on the edge m. We were elbow to elbow. One of them compromised their dinner and ordered something that plates smaller just to accommodate the table to not be so dang squished & awkward.
The waiter forgot one of our drinks. The multiple times he came back to check on the table, he was in and out so fast that we couldn’t even ask where the drink was and at some point we didn’t even want to mention it anymore because we got annoyed. It wasn’t until the end of dinner where the person who was missing the drink had spoken up aloud saying the drink better not be on their ticket because they never got it. Within seconds, the waiter popped around the corner and said “you never got your drink did you?” He made it right by still giving her the drink and comping it.
Additionally, one of the friends ordered this drink and the presentation had fire sparks which was really cool. The issue with that was it was delivered to the wrong person and the person the drink was in front of, the waiter lit it too close to her and the waiter didn’t warn her about the sparks. She sparks was shooting on her a little bit. This was a major concern. I included the video in my review.
The appetizers were DELICIOUS. I really loved the dumplings and rock shrimp.
I felt that the main course was over priced. As you can see from my google reviews I love eating good food and will happily pay for good food. The menu wasn’t too hot and the prices were pretty high. Honestly had too many options too. With a table of 10, most of us all felt the same and didn’t enjoy the food as much. No complaints came from the burger!
I ended up ordered ordering the Oxtail fried rice with bone marrow as that was one of their most popular dishes they’re known for. It was good but wish it came with a fried egg. I did order the eggs on the side. However my bone marrow had like a tiny tiny scoop of marrow. I was confused why there was marrow in the plate to began with because of how little marrow I had gotten. I spoke to others who’s been there before and they were saying their marrow has a lot. So I thought I guess I got the bad apple of the day.
The cocktail and mocktail drinks were delicious!!!!
I would definitely go back for appetizers and drinks and a good vibe!
