- KYKimberly YamasakiApr 13, 20261.0We have a special needs daughter and have been going to OU Children’s for years… long before Dunkin came to OU. We are there usually a few times a month. The last couple times we have come Dunkin has had music on extremely loud in their lobby… you cannot hear the peaceful piano music the hospital plays over it. In fact at our last visit it was so loud you could not hear the TV in the waiting room down the hall over their music. Then the kitchen area has different loud music blaring in the back all the while the employees are shouting loudly to each other behind the counter. It is ao loud in fact the lady attempting to take our order could not hear us and we could not hear her. Having a special needs daughter with many medical issues and sensory issues to loud noises this is horrible. I tried talking to the employees about the fact that it needed to be quieter because this was a children’s hospital with many children who can be bothered by this but they didn’t care. I’m sorry but a child should not leave the donut shop at the hospital in tears because it is loud. At this point I Hope OU children’s gets enough complaints to kick them out. I have been told they have been getting lots of complaints for other about the noise so it’s no just us. Until either they gain respect for the children or they something else comes to the hospital we will have to spend our money elsewhere.

My child is in the hospital & has been for months and the last thing I need is to feel like I'm burdening you to do YOUR job. It's a children's hospital... At least pretend to be kind.
