- SLSara LowryJun 29, 20261.0I’ve always loved Domino’s—it’s easily my favorite pizza chain. In fact, this location used to be one of my favorites. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. If you order early in the day, around opening or shortly after lunch, you’ll probably have no issues. I’ve even ordered from this location for lunches at my workplace. However, trying to order dinner from this store has become incredibly frustrating. This isn’t an isolated incident, either. We’ve had repeated issues trying to place online orders from this location during the evening hours. In fact, we don’t experience this problem with any other Domino’s location—only this one. One night, after repeatedly trying to place an order through the app and getting nowhere, I finally called the store. I was told that online ordering had been turned off because they were behind on orders and busy. While I can understand that staffing shortages and high order volume happen, it still seems incredibly counterintuitive to stop accepting online orders during what is arguably one of the busiest and most important times of the day for a pizza business. To make matters worse, the employee I spoke with was less than helpful or friendly about the situation. The most frustrating part is that mobile ordering is how many customers access promotions and rewards points. Because this location frequently disables online ordering during dinner hours, I’ve had to drive all the way to the Memorial Road location just to place an order through the app. It’s disappointing to have a Domino’s location right down the street that I can’t reliably order from in the evening, while other locations continue operating normally. I genuinely want to support this store because it used to be one of my favorites. However, until online ordering is consistently available during dinner hours, I’ll continue driving to another location that can actually take my order.
