This is my first time to the new Bojangles. I pull up to the drive-through Window. It still has the Knight menu on that shows chicken and dirty rice which they don’t have. Of course I got here at five so they might want to get their screen ready then I order it to the Window. They tell me it’s gonna be five more minutes because they don’t have biscuits ready. Do you think they would start making the big biscuits before 5 AM since everything includes a biscuit the window at the drive-through is filthy from fingerprints. It didn’t clean it from the night before my first time here it won’t be my last. Hopefully they get things together like they do in North Carolina where I’m from. I ordered my meal at 5 AM. It is now 510 and I still don’t have my food and I was first in line.. I was doing this review as I was at the drive-through window. I had initially started out with the Star then I saw the manager while I was waiting on my food after 10 minutes and I talked to her and I told her about the window she just looked at it and said oh then I asked her why they didn’t have biscuits ready at 5 AM. She said there was no biscuit maker there yet and I said shouldn’t a biscuit maker get there before 5 AM so they’re ready at five she said well that’s when she got here. Then I told her about the window drive up showing the dinner menu and she said well I can’t control that change that to breakfast that’s from corporate. I highly doubt that you can’t change the menu board. She had a really bad attitude. It’s very negative trying to decide to change my review which I was being lenient and nice on starter one Star because honestly, her attitude was so negative. Acted like it’s not her problem and she didn’t care that’s too bad. Worst service I’ve ever had at Bojangles. I will go back because the biscuit was actually good but I’m not going to list that here because management needs to do some changes. Feel free to reach out to me. I’d love to talk more about this after going to Bojangles over 1000 times in my life in North Carolina. What a disappointment this new story in Oklahoma City. I hope they can step up the pace and it makes it, but if the service is like this in the attitude is like this people won’t come back

You guys make tasty food, but customers will come once and never come again due to the service experience, lack of direction, and order inefficiency. I saw customers cancelling orders or just plain giving up and leaving. Now you have employees making orders for people who aren’t even there anymore, continuing the cycle of inefficiency and waste. I am not a restaurant owner, nor do I know anything about restaurant business, but I could see that having an employee whose sole job is to be at the front directing/instructing customers would help so much. Walking in and seeing people waiting everywhere not knowing where to go or what to do is overwhelming, so I started talking to others to figure out what to do, and that should not have to happen. Multiple customers, including myself, had no idea we were supposed to check-in after placing an online order. I got my order before a customer who had been there for 45 minutes, and he ordered on the kiosk at the restaurant. Do not fault the employees, they are working their hardest with what they’ve got. This is a management issue, and I hope management can bring a better, more efficient experience to employees and the customers.

Did a mobile order at 7:28pm, the app said ready in 10 minutes, and didn’t get my food until 8:20pm. When I arrived, I found out other mobile order customers had been waiting over an hour AFTER ordering on the app. The only time the staff seemed to work the mobile orders were when the customers became upset and let the staff them know their name and how long they’ve been waiting. The staff would then shuffle through the mobile order receipts and start working it. The staff also seemingly gave up on the fountain drink station. There were several fountain drinks out of order but you only found out after trying to get that drink because there were no signs. There weren’t any lids, napkins or ice. When you asked for these items, the staff seemed pretty rude about it. One person even said “I’m on break, ask someone else”. I eventually got a chance to tell the staff my name so that they would work on my order. When I got home with my food, my sandwich was missing the buns and I did not get any of the sauces I ordered. The chicken is good but the experience may not be worth it.

Tried the new Bojangles this week and honestly didn’t know much about it beforehand, but a friend of mine swore up and down by it. Overall, it was decent, but there were definitely some things that stood out. Service was pretty slow, especially considering they’ve been open for about 3 weeks now, and it definitely felt like the drive-thru was being prioritized over customers dining inside. The front area also felt a little chaotic because associates were ordering food in the same space as customers, which led to several employees crowded around the counter at once. A better system for employee orders would probably help the overall atmosphere a lot. The food itself was fresh and had great flavor, and the homemade ranch was honestly amazing. The special sauce wasn’t really my favorite, but that’s just personal preference. Cleanliness wasn’t terrible either, and one employee who grabbed our trash while we were still talking was extremely nice, but his shirt looked pretty dirty, which wasn’t the best impression. Overall, I’d still say it’s worth trying at least once, but for me personally it probably won’t be somewhere I go out of my way to visit again.

Google said restaurant closed at 11 pm, yet barely after 10 pm we were in the drive thru line for about 20 minutes when we got to the speaker and instead of being greeted we were told they were done taking orders. I mentioned being diabetic and having already waited 20 mins in line , and needing to eat soon, and they RELUCTANTLY took our order. I even heard someone complaining in the background that they had already been told to stop taking orders. Food was COLD and I can literally see the restaurant from my apartment across the street off highland parkway, so it wasn't the drive home. I had literally 2 bites of Mac and cheese in the container, and the chicken on my sandwich was rubbery like it had been held for too long. The boo berry biscuits were good, though!! They were the only enjoyable thing about the whole experience. Some of the staff were very unprofessional and one girl was chanting " you ain't got to go home but you got to get the HELL outta here" over and over right after they started telling people in line that they were done taking orders. She was saying it at the top of her lungs both outside, and once she got into the drive thru area inside the building. I would love to give the spot a second chance, after seeing it wrapped for days and hearing good things about other locations, but MAN that was an AWFUL experience.. and I don't know if I can talk myself into spending my hard earned money there again, for it to be another poor experience.
