  Pizza and salad and gelato oh my! I’ve ate here more times than I can count and I’m surprised I haven’t already left a review. 🙈 Let’s start with the shocking goodness. The salads. 🥗 As someone who’s been a vegetarian since I was 7 and never a big fan of salads I LOVE the house and panzanella. They are always fresh and refreshing. My mother can’t eat here without getting the luscious house salad. The pizzas: 🍕 from fun names to tasty varieties every one will find something they love here. My personal fav is the veggie. My father loves the supreme-ish. But my rowing team loves the runway which is a 36” long pizza. Way more entertaining to order the 36” long pizza over 4 larges because the deliver to the table is epic. 🔥 Gelato: or should I say gelat-OH! 😍 It scrumdiddlyumptious! You can get the baby size or the mega size but no matter what size you get you can try to different flavors and you’ll enjoy no matter what flavor you put in your mouth. I will admit my all-time favorite is the banana pudding! 🍌 Location: located in Wheeler District Oklahoma City. There’s mostly street parking but a large parking lot with not a far walk. There’s plenty of space to pull up and drop someone off if needed. 🚗 Restrooms: restrooms are nice and large and size and individual rooms. They’ve always been clean. 🚻 Seating: there’s so many great options for seating. From inside or outside. The inside has traditional booth, and large party tables. You can even sit at the bar top at the bar or one where you can watch them make the pizzas in the back. 🪑 👁️ They have a great online ordering system if you need to grab it to go. That may keep you from the temptation of the gelato. But trust me you’ll regret it if you don’t at least give a flavor a try. 💁‍♀️ ♿️ there’s a sidewalk ramp entrance right outside the restaurant making it easy to roll up to. Also, the front door isn’t stupid heavy so it’s easy to navigate. The big round table in the front and the table in the back are perfect height for wheelchair users. They’re very accommodating and helpful if you need additional accessible assistance. Such as getting a drink out of the soda fountain.

  I stopped by American Gothic Pizza to check out the food and was warmly greeted by the owners as soon as I walked in. They’re extremely kind, polite, and run a spotless establishment. You can tell they genuinely care about the place, everything is clean, organized, and thoughtfully put together. I ordered the 10-inch pepperoni and sausage pizza with basil. The ingredients tasted fresh, the sauce was light, the cheese had good flavor, and the crust had a great chew to it, almost pretzel‑like, but in a really good way. I also had the Kale Caesar Salad with added chicken. The large portion is definitely plentiful, and every bite tastes crisp and fresh. The overall establishment has a custom Italian vibe, and even the bathrooms are decorated nicely with that same style. They were very clean, just like the rest of the restaurant. The owners make everything themselves right there in the kitchen, and you can taste that level of care in the food. There’s plenty of parking, and the surrounding area is nice to walk around and explore. Overall, American Gothic Pizza delivers excellent food, friendly service, and a clean, welcoming environment.

  American Gothic Pizza is by far the best Neapolitan style pizza I’ve had in the United States. The crust is perfect and the sauce is amazing. I wasn’t sure what to expect walking into this place but it’s definitely a gem. I’ve never seen my kids eat pizza so quickly. The owners are the nicest people. Incredibly down to earth and they are in love with what they do. Truly a beautiful blend of unbelievable pizza, passion and people. I look forward to my next visit!

  Fun and trendy pizza place. I am about 75% sure the owner lady took our orders and the man owner made the food. And I thought that was the coolest. You can watch them too. Love that. Pizza was good!! The crust though! What?!??! Phenomenal!!!

  This was our first visit(soon to be many)! Anxious to try a true Neapolitan style pizza here in OkC and man did American Gothic deliver! Very simple crust, sauce and fresh ingredients makes for a wonderful pizza unlike the other options here in town(I like a NY Style pizza also). The charred crust just added to the flavor. I had the House Sausage which was great and wife had a special pizza and don't recall toppings but was also great! Talked to the owner about our upcoming trip to Naples and he shared the names of a couple of pizzerias to try. Anxious to compare but he worked with 2 brothers from one of the restaurants so I fully expect it to be phenomenal as well. Looking at the menu now to see what I want to order next.
