  Ordered on kiosk and took receipt to counter to pay. Young man had no clue how to do it and started reringing up everything. Young man had no clue how to pull it up nor take onions or lettuce off sandwiches. So training is failing here. Poor kid put on counter by himself with no knowledge.. insane. Person i assume is manager came to show him how to do it but he didn't even cash us out. Another employee came and cashed us out. A man came in from drive thru that had been waiting at windows 3 for 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Definitely need attention to training and orgination at this facility.

  The lack of menu and human worker to order from at the register is so off-putting. There are no workers at the front register so you have to wait forever to finally catch one’s attention as they bring food to the to go spot. The music is WAY TOO LOUD outside the door. Like ear splitting loud. They blast it to keep homeless folks away, and it is so loud I can’t make phone calls in my car with the door closed without having to shout over it. I am positive it can cause ear damage because my ears hurt every time I go through the door.

  the food is mcdonalds quality, of course. not good or bad, you get what you pay for type food. it was the SERVICE that made this rating so low. every time someone walked in, the guy at the counter vanished. it was the same guy going back and forth between the kitchen, taking orders AND bringing food out. i never once saw another employee. sometimes, in the 20 minutes i was there, multiple people would be standing at the counter waiting for the guy to come out at all. when my friend and i ordered separately, he took my order and then immediately walked away without taking hers. we had to wait another few minutes for him to come out with my order for hers to even get taken. either this store is SEVERELY understaffed or the staff just doesn't care. please come out and take our money! we want food!

  Do you like the sterile, cold design of a jailhouse holding cell and the surly communication of detention officers? Then this McDonald's is not for you. The holding cell at CCDC has a more welcoming design, and the detention officers don't act like you're a distraction. I had heard of hostile architecture—I hadn't heard of hostile interior design. This McDonald's appears to be specifically designed to make you feel like you're imposing, should you decide to eat in the restaurant. Walls keep you from seeing the staff. This wouldn't be a problem if the register area were staffed (at the times I've visited—only twice—it was not). I do not blame the workers for being less than happy when interrupted—I'm sure staffing is as bare as possible to maximize profits. One of the two times I've gone there, my order was incorrect, but the staff was clearly working hard, so I didn't have the heart to ask for a fix. So I just won't go to a McDonald's with this design. If this is a franchise, the owner needs to loosen the purse strings and hire more workers.

  Not even 4 days ago FreeHandGaming published a review that said that he had been turned down of his online order and here I am in the same exact situation at the exact same location. I show up at 1:40 after ordering $23 worth of food just to get told “The online order machine messed up and we aren’t getting anything through so we will have to retake the order”. As such, I asked, “well are you going to double charge my card as in I have to order and pay again for the food I already paid for” and the answer was “yes”. Make this make any sort of sense. I have to pay for the food I already paid for, reorder again, and then sit and wait for my money to be refunded 1-7 days later from the order I placed online. This is not only poor business practice, but given I just drove 10 minutes to get there, 10 minutes in the line, and then 3 minutes getting told I have to buy my order again that I already paid for, and then drive another 10 minutes back with zero food. I just wasted 33 minutes at about 1:30 in the morning to drive and achieve nothing but lose 23 dollars and gas money. For the sake of the people on shift on April 23rd at 1:40 in the morning I hope that is the truth because either the equipment is faulty and providing a negative experience or the workers are making a habit of lying, cheating, and scamming customers out of service that has already been paid for, causing a backload of refunds that need to be performed from the corporate company itself. This is surely the worst experience I have ever had at a single McDonald’s in nearly a decade.
