Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Normally takes along time for someone to realize ur at the counter but after 30 mins of waiting ur food will be delivered to the table and u get to pick ur condoments not a bad spot

Went through the drive thru and they was very nice and made my food quickly and the quality was great. The night shift workers have great customer service.

I was trying to do a DoorDash here and it was very frustrating because they were almost 10 minutes late or getting it done and I completely understand that if they’re busy, But this was like at seven in the morning and they were not busy and they were so busy just talking about what kind of dog they wanted to get that that was more important than getting orders done. Usually, I go in during the day and they do a really good job about getting them done on time, but this morning was rough. They didn’t even have anyone in the drive-through or in the store. I was literally The only person in there and it took them so long just to make a chicken biscuit with some hashbrowns and a Dr Pepper because they were too busy talking about their life. I understand employees wanting to talk, but this is the problem I believe with customer service sales days. I pay attention a lot when I’m door dashing in so many places will act like their conversation is more important than getting their job done which is very frustrating. I guess it’s just different from whenever I used to work at the bank and I used to work for the government for customer service and we were always taught to handle whatever it is with the customer reverse and then you were allowed to have conversations when customers were not standing there. I think it’s very rude that they’re even talking about this stuff when people are standing there. It’s just not professional in my opinion.

The woman working the drive thru was really nice. I didn't catch her name, but she had glasses. Food was awesome, hot and delicious. Really good stop on a road trip.

I was shocked by what I witnessed during my visit. An employee who has always been friendly, professional, and kind to customers was openly talked down to by a manager named Brianna in front of customers and their families.
No employee deserves to be embarrassed publicly. It was uncomfortable to watch and showed a complete lack of professionalism. Good managers address issues privately, not by humiliating employees in front of guests.
The employee remained professional throughout the situation. Brianna should be ashamed of how she handled herself, and management should take a closer look at the example being set.
